Trump, war, the Pentagon and the conservative establishment

Trump and his defense-sector dominated administration are clearly salivating at the thought taking military action against Iran and North Korea (at the very least) while the mainstream media foments and reinforces this sentiment through its unremitting anti-Russian hysteria and by showering the Trump administration with praise and flattery every time it even hints at intervention or takes military action. Remember this?

The Pentagon has already bombed Syria, sent almost 4,000 additional troops to Afghanistan (with additional plans in the works to send even more troops in and give the Pentagon far broader authority to conduct operations in Afghanistan), lobbied for the creation of a “Space Corps” (reminiscent of Reagan-era SDI schemes) and more recently been dreaming up proposals to supply Ukraine with antitank missiles and other high-end weapons, which would take the US-Russia proxy war in Ukraine to a new level. However, at least in the short-term, these seem to be relatively minor agenda items compared to Iran and North Korea.

Only two months into the Trump administration, neoconservative NatSec booster and former Kissinger and Weinberger aide, K.T. McFarland (who was at that time Deputy National Security Adviser), convened a meeting of national security experts and officials to discuss potentially taking military action against North Korea – a drastic departure from previous administrations’ North Korea strategy. Despite the fact that the more diplomatically inclined H.R. McMaster and Dina Powell have replaced Flynn and McFarland at the National Security Council, the tone on North Korea hasn’t changed in the slightest and the NSC and Pentagon continue to prepare military options against North Korea and, as far as anyone knows, has not pushed back against the president or any of his cabinet members’ inflammatory pro-war intimations. Of course, the media is complicit with North Korea and the White House in this escalation, as it has hyped the North Korean threat by obsessively and ceaselessly theorizing and speculating as to which American cities North Korea can hit with ICBMs.

On the Iran front, things don’t appear to be any better despite the fact that the media has not been giving it as much attention as Korea. Iran has long been a target of the West due to 1) the fact that it’s the only Middle Eastern country with any semblance of a native defense industry that isn’t reliant on the US for parts, maintenance and engineering and 2) Israel’s wish that Iran be wiped off the map since it is the only real long-term cultural, military and economic threat to its intended complete dominance of the Middle East. Trump, McMaster, Tillerson and extreme Iran-hawk Mattis are actively scheming to sabotage the Iran “deal” (which was almost certainly a carefully designed trap from the beginning) by finding a way to declare than Iran is technically in noncompliance with the deal, thereby setting the stage for a military confrontation. This is of course the exact same course of action that the Bush II administration took in the run-up to the Iraq War.

Even absent drastic acts of foreign intervention, the Pentagon will surely remain happy throughout the Trump administration, as it has made it blatantly obvious that it wishes to drastically expand the Department of Defense in regards to both its size and scope by lifting caps on spending and has deliberately sidelined (to the extent it can) the National Security Council and empowered the Pentagon (as well as the CIA) to make national security and military decisions more independently and absent White House meddling. This shift of power from the NSC to the Pentagon and the resulting streamlining of military decisions is perhaps the most consequential and significant aspect of the Trump presidency, yet it hardly receives any coverage at all.

…the presidential candidate who termed our military a “disaster” and insisted that huge spending increases were needed to bring it back up to par. A window into this Trump’s thinking can be found in a speech he gave in Philadelphia in early September. Drawing heavily on a military spending blueprint created by Washington’s right-wing Heritage Foundation, Trump called for tens of thousands of additional troops; a Navy of 350 ships (the current goal is 308); a significantly larger Air Force; an anti-missile, space-based Star Wars-style program of Reaganesque proportions; and an acceleration of the Pentagon’s $1 trillion “modernization” program for the nuclear arsenal (now considered a three-decade-long project).

Todd Harrison of the Center for Strategic and International Studies estimates that, if Trump faithfully follows the Heritage Foundation’s proposal, he could add more than $900 billion to the Pentagon’s budget over the next decade. Trump asserts that he would counterbalance this spending splurge with corresponding cuts in government waste but has as yet offered no credible plan for doing so (because, of course, there isn’t one).

You won’t be surprised to learn, then, that the defense industry, always sensitive to the vibes of presidential candidates, has been popping the champagne corks in the wake of Trump’s victory. The prospects are clear: A new Pentagon spending binge is on the horizon. – Mother Jones

This is without a doubt the reason why the largely Pentagon and CIA based conservative national security-booster establishment thrust Trump into office. The primary architect of this putsch was likely former CIA director James Woolsey, the most connected neoconservative Zionist in the world who features prominently on many NGO advisory boards (including many run by the liberal diplomatic establishment), has served on the board of nearly every major defense company under the sun and has remained a consummate Pentagon insider his entire career. Woolsey likely accomplished this through using renegade boyscout Michael Flynn as his proxy. Woolsey developed a close relationship with Flynn throughout the 2016 election season and into Flynn’s tenure as National Security Advisor – Woolsey served as an advisor to the Trump presidential campaign as well as a board member of Flynn Intel Group, attended a meeting alongside Flynn with Turkish government officials about covertly capturing Fethullah Gulen and sending him back to Turkey and was even offered the position of CIA director (again) by Flynn.

James Woolsey (center) with Allied military intelligence officer Victor Jones (left) and French Spy Jeannie de Clarens (right).

Other hawk establishment mainstays within the Trump orbit are John Bolton (who Trump desperately wanted to install in either the State Department or NSC), Center for Security Policy head and Reagan Pentagon official Frank Gaffney, Palantir owner Peter Thiel, the Mercers (GOP donors behind Cambridge Analytica), Blackwater founder Erik Prince, Edwin Meese, Frank Keating and a collection of lower profile national security officials from past Republican administrations (particularly Reagan and Bush II’s).[1][2]

Flynn has already halfway fulfilled his role as a fall guy for the Woolsey, Trump and friends’ maneuverings – he was forced to resign as national security adviser and is currently being investigated by two grand juries in Virginia and Washington, D.C. The entire media is reeling over the Russian election interference and related investigations. The altmedia (a national security state vassal at this point) is claiming that the investigations are witch-hunts headed by “deep state” Democrat operatives intent on destroying Donald Trump while the mainstream media and various left-wing outlets assert that they will inevitably lead to the president’s impeachment. Neither of these narratives are accurate. The investigation will likely go the way of Iran Contra, Scooter Libby, the many Clinton-era scandals, etc. – only fall guys, dupes and patsies (look to surrogates such as Flynn, Manafort, Carter Page, etc. to fill this role) will go down, leaving the core of the administration and its deep state elements in place. Even if Donald Trump himself goes down, he still will have served his purpose as an enabler of the more hawkish elements of the deep state and his Pentagon-boosting legacy and neoconservative foreign policy are not going to be undone by Mike Pence.

[2] Deep State misappropriation and the cryptocratic clique behind Trump

Alt-Right’s Richard Spencer handled by deep state family

In 2014, three Americans were in Budapest, Hungary organizing an international conference for the white nationalist think tank, the National Policy Institute: the contentious white supremacist and progenitor of the term “alt-right”, Richard Spencer, the refined, cosmopolitan, Ivy League-educated editor of white nationalist publication American Renaissance, Jared Taylor and enigmatic publishing heir, William Regnery II. Among those who were to speak at the event was none other than Alexander Dugin, a rabidly anti-liberal and anti-Western “Eurasianist” with very close ties to Vladimir Putin and Russia’s military and national security apparatus. Richard Spencer’s wife Nina Byzantina, who was also present at the meeting, translates Dugin’s works into English in her spare time.

Richard Spencer (left) & Jared Taylor (center) at a National Policy Institute conference

Hungarian authorities believed the meeting to have been orchestrated by the CIA in an attempt to embarrass Hungary’s newly-elected right-wing government and the three Americans were swiftly intercepted and spirited out of the country.

“The government thought that it was a CIA plot,” a source with inside knowledge of Hungarian counterintelligence said in an interview. “They are completely paranoid, and when this conference was announced, they were convinced that this was an American action,” the source said. “They guessed that US intelligence services set up this conference so they can say Hungary is a home for right-wing extremist activists and then blackmail them in the international media.”[1]

Everyone else scoffed at the idea that these three American stooges were part of a CIA plot. The idea that any of these clueless “white nationalist” oafs is even remotely connected to the CIA is absurd… right?

The Regnery Connection

The National Policy Institute was founded as a “racial realist” and “white nationalist” think tank and lobbying effort in 2005 by William Regnery II, who has used his family money to fund the rapid growth of numerous hard-right white nationalist and “anti-Semitic” groups such as the Martel Society, another think tank founded by Regnery II in 2001 which publishes The Occidental Quarterly and runs the Occidental Observer website. Immediately after founding the Martel Society, Regnery II came out swinging, advocating for a radical reconfiguring of the United States and its internal borders based on racial, religious and cultural lines.[2] At some point, Regnery discovered heedless agitator Richard Spencer, who he fostered an intimate relationship with and in 2011 installed as the frontman and nominal head of the NPI, which established the NPI as the chief staging ground for the blossoming, rabidly pro-Trump “alternative right” movement which is characterized by an authoritarian European-style right-wing populist ideology (in contrast to the North America-exclusive libertarian ideology of say Ron Paul). While Spencer is technically the chairman of the NPI, it is still run behind the scenes by Regnery. Richard Spencer referred to him as the chairman of the organization as recently as 2014, five years after Regnery supposedly stepped down from the position.

William Regnery II

Despite this, Regnery (who is known for his extreme secretiveness and reclusiveness) is conspicuously lacking in any kind of publicity – his name is scarcely mentioned at all on the NPI’s website and at NPI conferences, he goes almost entirely unmentioned and very rarely speaks. When he does speak, he is almost never recorded. It appears as though this reticent character handles the colorful frontman Spencer, who speaks to and consults with Regnery almost daily. According to Spencer himself, Regnery has played a “vitally important and indispensable” role in bolstering the alt-right movement and that he “wouldn’t do a big thing without consulting him.”[3] [4]

So just exactly who is this mysterious alt-right power broker, William Regnery II? A deep dive into his family’s background perhaps validates the Hungarian government’s understanding of Spencer and Regnery’s Central European misadventure as a potential CIA ploy.

Regnery’s family has been deeply connected to the right-wing power structure and intelligence community since the early 20th century. Regnery II’s grandfather and originator of the family’s wealth and political influence was William Henry Regnery, a wealthy Chicago textile manufacturer. William Henry was a founding member of the American Security Council, which throughout the postwar era has sat at the center of the right-wing defense establishment and seeks to influence American foreign policy through the doctrine of “peace through strength.”

Nina Byzantina, Richard Spencer and….. Laura Bush?? Who in the blue hell is Regnery II going around introducing Richard Spencer to?

ascHistorical membership of the ASC reads like a who’s who of the intelligence and national security establishments – CIA counterintelligence chief James Jesus Angleton, founding CIA member and Iran-Contra orchestrator John Singlaub, neoconservative Reagan-era diplomat Jeane Kirkpatrick, former deputy national security advisor and Nixon Secretary of State Alexander Haig, inventor of the hydrogen bomb and SDI architect Edward Teller, DoD scientist and presidential advisor John S. Foster, Jr., lead Manhattan Project physicist Eugene Wigner, father of the neutron bomb and RAND Corporation think tanker Samuel T. Cohen and dozens of others highly connected to the military, CIA, FBI, corporate America, etc. The ASC’s spin-off think tank, the Center for Security Policy, is similarly connected, featuring former CIA director and supreme neoconservative-Zionist James Woolsey, Dick Cheney, neoconservative former chairman of the Defense Policy Board Richard Perle, former director of the CIA and Secretary of State James Schlesinger and Paul Wolfowitz as members.

Throughout its reign as the cream of defense establishment think tanks, the ASC and its members covertly backed Barry Goldwater and Ronald Reagan, coordinated anti-Communist witch hunts with the FBI, J. Edgar Hoover and Allen Dulles, lobbied for anti-detente foreign policies throughout the ’60s and ’70s, almost single-handedly crafted Reagan’s foreign policy, was highly involved in Iran-Contra and CIA drug running out of Southeast Asia and factored strongly in the design of the Strategic Defense Initiative.[5] [6]

In 1978 the ASCF created the “National Strategy for Peace through Strength,” and has been cited numerous times with providing the overall foreign affairs theme for the administration of former President Ronald Reagan. President Reagan personally gave the ASCF credit for this on several occasions and said America won the Cold War based upon the ASCF’s “National Strategy for Peace through Strength” doctrine.[7]

After William Henry Regnery died, his son Henry Regnery (Regnery II’s uncle), replaced him at the American Security Council and in powerful conservative political circles, but Henry’s knack was for propaganda, not defense policy. Henry’s publishing company, Regnery Publishing, which for many decades was the most prominent conservative publishing house in the US, was funded by the CIA according to intelligence officer and Watergate mastermind E. Howard Hunt.[8] It was the first major publishing outfit to release writings of the John Birch Society and later went on to publish preeminent conservative figures William Buckley, Russell Kirk, Whittaker Chambers, Ann Coulter, Newt Gingrich, Rush Limbaugh, Donald Trump, Oliver North, Dinesh D’Souza and William Casey among others.

Al Regnery

Henry Regnery’s son, Al Regnery (Regnery II’s cousin), became president of Regnery Publishing in the ’80s after a stint in the Reagan Justice Department and in 2003 became editor-in-chief of the elite conservative American Spectator magazine, a position he held until 2012. Al is additionally the chairman of the William F. Buckley-founded Intercollegiate Studies Institute, a Young Republicans-esque college recruitment organization that Regnery II was a member of in his college years. Through the ISI, both Regnerys became good friends with Reagan attorney general and advisor Edwin Meese, who was involved in the SDI, Iran-Contra and the bizarre Inslaw/PROMIS scandal.[4] More recently, Meese founded the Reagan Alumni Advisory Council for Trump-Pence, which is composed of over 200 Reagan administration alumni. Among its ranks are pro-Trump CNN pundit Jeffrey Lord, “mega-lobbyist” Haley Barbour, elite GOP political consultant Ed Rollins, radical Christian Israel-booster Gary Bauer, and former Bush drug czar William Bennett. Meese’s Advisory Council promotes massive tax cuts and a rebirth of the Reagan administration’s “peace through strength” foreign policy.[9]

Who Regnery II’s parents were is unclear, but what is sure is that one of his parents was one of Regnery I’s five children other than Henry and that Regnery II was close to his deep state family judging by the fact that he was chosen to succeed his grandfather in running the family textile empire before it went under in the ’80s.

So, to summarize, Richard Spencer’s closest advisor’s grandfather and uncle were both central members of one of the most entrenched postwar deep state think tanks, with CIA funding ran the paramount conservative publishing house for decades, helped thrust Ronald Reagan into the White House and later were part of the guild which crafted his foreign policy. Regnery II, through Richard Spencer in a 21st century digital fashion aided deep state auxiliary Donald Trump in seizing the Oval Office and has seeded and funded a network of organizations propagating a trendy new populist right-wing ideology as his ancestor’s tired Reaganesque policies and rhetorics grow tired and old.

Hidden Agendas Part Two: Wikileaks and the Trump propaganda infrastructure

This article is part of a two-part series. Read Part One covering Edward Snowden and the Pentagon-spawned internet privacy movement here.

Wikileaks and its odd frontman Julian Assange are part of the constellation of knowing and unknowing propagandists making up the Trump media complex, which miraculously succeeded in parlaying a deep state auxiliary into the White House by snookering the majority of the United States into believing he was a “political outsider” and “non-politician”. It has cloaked its relatively blatant political motivations and maneuvering in the robe of a dissident hactivist leak conduit and internet privacy advocacy group. As a kind of afterthought it endlessly advertises Tor (making it just as part of the phony internet privacy marketing infrastructure luring people into an NSA-FBI honeypot honeypot as Snowden & friends), but at this point its main calling is sentiment manipulation on behalf of Trump and his underwriters judging by the steady and unwavering drip of leaks damaging to Hillary Clinton. But before discussing Wikileaks, its bolstering of Trump and the myriad of indications that it’s an intelligence operation and/or proxy, it’s important to establish the mainstream media as part of the Trump media complex – keep in mind that Wikileaks and Wikileaks-seeded narratives have been frequently mentioned even in the mainstream media (and in particular Fox News).

“Russian interference” is the crux of Trump’s coverage in the media today. Although Donald Trump does have compelling connections to the post-Soviet ex KGB-Russian Jewish mob run underground government of Russia, there is clearly some kind of agenda behind the shrill drumbeat of accusations of collusion between “the Russians” and the Trump campaign/administration by the mainstream media (the foundational accusation being that Russia “hacked” the election). While most attribute this to a seething hatred of Trump by the entirety of the media and/or a witch hunt being conducted by the political establishment and deep state, CNN (the foremost Russia-monger) itself accidentally exposed that the story was largely a “bullshit” distraction but that it was pushed nonstop for ratings and viewership, both which are higher than ever.

This squares with Trump and his inner circle’s long-time cozy and well-hidden relationships with media executives and figures such as Jeff Zucker, Joe Scarborough/Mika Brzezinski, Rupert Murdoch, Roger Ailes, Lally Weymouth, Jeff Bezos, etc. whose number one priority since Trump announced his candidacy has been to cover him as much as humanly possible. At CNN, staffers complain of Jeff Zucker (Trump’s self-described friend and “personal booker“) and his insistence on constantly covering Trump. Zucker previously worked with Trump at MSNBC on The Apprentice and enjoyed a special relationship with him all throughout the election season which he used to turn CNN’s deteriorating ratings and viewership numbers around. Over at MSNBC, Joe Scarborough, Mika Brzezinski (both of whom have communed with Trump at Mar-A-Lago) and their producers allow Donald Trump to personally dictate what they can and cannot ask him. Jared Kushner and Ivanka Trump party at the Washington Post editor’s summer house in the Hamptons despite the fact that the mainstream press is allegedly out to publicly hang them. Trump has made a habit of publicly lambasting the Washington Post and its owner, Amazon’s Jeff Bezos. However, it looks as if Bezos in reality peddles influence in the Trump White House:

Then, at a tech gathering at Trump Tower during the transition in December, Bezos introduced himself as someone who is “super excited about the possibilities this could be the innovation administration” and appeared to have a positive outlook after his meeting. In a statement to Business Insider at the time, Bezos said his meeting was “very productive.”

This month, Bezos participated in Mr. Trump’s roundtable with the American Technology Council at the White House and applauded the administration’s work in technological innovation. He encouraged using commercial technology to save money and develop artificial intelligence to improve government services. [1]

Kingmaker and deep state abettor supreme Rupert Murdoch (who is a prominent advisor and backer of Trump’s) used his Fox News network to shamelessly boost Trump and the same right-wing authoritarian agenda it’s always endorsed (albeit with with a populist twist). Roger Ailes, former CEO of Fox News and a key architect of television as a medium for propaganda, launched Trump’s political commentary career by giving him a daily call-in segment on Fox & Friends and advised Trump all throughout the 2015-2016 campaign, all the while maintaining a sham Twitter feud with him.

As long as all the writers and producers (many of whom do probably despise Trump) focus virtually all of their attention on the president regardless of whatever petty mini-scandals they end up exposing, everyone is happy – Trump gets the exposure and attention he so craves without ever being totally destroyed, the Trump administration (which is in effect run by a colorful assortment of financial oligarchs, think tankers and defense industry NatSec boosters) has a red herring to distract from the agenda it’s working to push through and the media networks get higher ratings. And, obviously, given this deceptive agenda, you wouldn’t expect this ubiquitous Trump camp intrigue with the media to be a very big story in the media.

Much of Trump-related and Clinton-bashing online news (in red) was spawned by Wikileaks dumps. Credit: WaPo

The media was indeed an integral part of Trump’s winning the election – the colossal, unprecedented amount of coverage (equivalent to $2 billion in free advertising) he received, regardless of whether it was positive or negative, in addition to the torrent of email leaks and scandals surrounding Hillary Clinton (many of which were seeded by Wikileaks) that were transmitted on full blast by both the alternative and ostensibly pro-Clinton mainstream media, propelled him into a position to win both the nomination and election. The ratio of negative coverage to positive Trump received was barely higher than that of any other Republican candidate’s and, contrary to what the shill altmedia says, probably lower than that of Hillary Clinton. [2] [3] Many simply dismiss a conscious media role in boosting Trump through explaining the coverage as a response to higher polling numbers. Firstly, this fails to take into account that the mainstream media began heaping legendary amounts of coverage upon Trump before he ever registered in the polls or even announced his candidacy. Secondly, statistical studies have shown that, while increased media coverage has a strong statistically significant positive effect on public support for a given candidate, increased poll numbers only exert a small (but still statistically significant) effect on media coverage, meaning media coverage is the primary driver of public support. [4]

Coverage leads to increased public interest in a candidate, which leads to more coverage. Ultimately, this cycle results in higher poll numbers for candidates who leverage their entertainment value to reap the benefits of news coverage. Our findings demonstrate that a high volume of news coverage for candidates leads to increased support, supporting the old adage, “there’s no such thing as bad publicity.”

We do not find strong evidence to support the hypothesis that media coverage changes as a function of performance in polls. [4]

If Trump were truly a dire threat to the deep state and the media was entirely in the pocket of the Clinton crime family as the altmedia goons suggest, subtle orders filtered down through media executives and top editors (nearly all of whom play ball with the power-elite and have intelligence connections) would have made sure that Trump be utterly blacked out in the media and treated as a mere nuisance as opposed to a legitimate threat to democracy, guaranteeing that he be relegated to obscurity, as for example Ron Paul and Pat Buchanan were. Political outsiders are simply not given full control of the news cycle. The truth is that Donald Trump, contrary to both the alternative and mainstream media, is a long-time political insider who’s throughout his life had intimate ties to some of the most powerful men in the world and installed into the Oval Office by very same kinds of people his base loathes; he’s the latest in the line of phony political outsiders which includes Ross Perot, Ronald Reagan, Barack Obama, Bill Clinton, Ted Cruz, etc. and has been thrust into power by an alliance of the American conservative/defense establishment and the international Zionist syndicate under former CIA director and top neoconservative Zionist James Woolsey. These groups are vying for power within the administration as well as consorting and scheming with the liberal “globalist” establishment, which has managed to install numerous members in the administration.[5]

Julian Assange and Edward Snowden are similar in that they are these supposed digital anti-establishment crusaders revealing the most damning of deep state secrets, yet they’re trotted out, paraded around and given all the publicity they could ever want by the fourth estate on a regular basis (as opposed to being suicided, almost entirely ignored or eternally imprisoned, as the vast majority of whistleblowers end up), indicating that they’re either controlled assets or simply unknowing dupes being used by the deep state or a deep state faction (read: the ultra nationalist right-wing national security and Israel boosters behind the Trump presidency) to advance some kind of agenda in return for free advertising and likely large sums of money.

6c567878e4830cf4070515b6475d3a61Wikileaks, a purported political “transparency” advocacy group and email/document leak conduit, has, along with Russia been at the center of the hacking narrative since it began leaking emails and documents belonging to the DNC (which was allegedly hacked on the order of the Kremlin, which in return indirectly handed the hacked documents over to Wikileaks), DCCC, Hillary Clinton and Clinton’s campaign manager, John Podesta. The release of this material had a substantial impact on the course and outcome of the 2016 election largely thanks to the alternative (or, as I call “sidestream”) media and online disinformation outlet’s widespread circulation of the emails, which of course has been accompanied by their decidedly Clinton-hostile and incredibly loose interpretation of the typically ambiguous and out-of-context contents of said emails, even going so far as to construe (based on a largely fabricated code language) a far-reaching pedophile ring operating out of the non-existent basement of a high traffic pizza parlor. Given the sidestream/alternative media’s symbiotic relationship with the right-wing power structure and the fact that Wikileaks and its exotic, almost cartoonish silver-haired celebrity spokesman Julian Assange are regularly splayed all over mainstream television (even having been mentioned by presidential debate moderators), Wikileaks should be viewed with extreme suspicion.

Julian Assange displays many of the hallmarks of an intelligence asset:

  • As a child, he was, for a not insignificant amount of time through a step father, exposed to (and later on the run from) Australia’s most notorious cult – “The Family”, a New Age doomsday cult based outside Melbourne that engaged in everything from attempted drug-induced mind control of its members to food deprivation to ritual sexual abuse. Additionally, members of The Family dyed their hair white, as Julian Assange does. The group miraculously evaded prosecution and eluded law enforcement for decades, which has led some to believe that it may have been protected by federal law enforcement and/or Western intelligence. There are several other indications of this: many members had multiple identities and passports, the cult was supplied free LSD (which at the time was being used all over the world in the CIA’s MKUltra mind control experiments) by the discoverer of the substance’s psychedelic effects, Sandoz Pharmaceuticals, and members of The Family at one point “nursed” Lord Casey, a prominent Australian diplomat and politician, at a Victoria psychiatric facility owned and staffed by Family cultists. Afterwards, Casey donated a large sum of money to the hospital.[6][7]
  • Assange was compromised by law enforcement in his 20s after having been caught hacking the now-defunct Canadian telecommunications equipment giant Nortel, after which it was then discovered that Assange (whose hacker handle was “Mendax”) had also been responsible for breaching the networks of Australian telecom Telstra, MILNET/the Pentagon as well as several major American corporations and more than a few American and Australian universities. Assange racked up a prodigious amount of felonies, yet served virtually no prison time. The reason given for this was that Assange supposedly had no malicious intent, but a more plausible explanation for the courts’ leniency would be because after being discovered, Assange was “turned” and gave “technical advise” to the Victoria Police Child Exploitation unit (in other words, helped the government catch online child pornographers), after which he began writing (sabotaging?) networking and encryption software and moderating computer security forums. Odds are after such a massive bust involving American government agencies (particularly the DoD), Assange was never truly let off the hook, yet remained a prominent internet privacy advocate. [8][9]
  • It is extremely rare for someone accused of serious crimes in multiple countries (in the United States and Sweden on leaking/espionage and rape charges respectively) to be granted asylum by a legitimate government, in Assange’s case the Ecuadorian government. However, this isn’t the only apparent uncustomary treatment Assange has received. In 2010, while the British government was seeking to arrest Assange at the behest of INTERPOL, it seemingly allowed him to roam southeast England in plain sight for over a month despite the fact that law enforcement was aware of his whereabouts. The explanation given was incorrectly filed paperwork, but this hasn’t stopped governments with the United States breathing down their back from carrying out questionable arrests before and this conveniently gave Assange time to make arrangements for after he was arrested. Afterwards, while under house arrest awaiting bail in the UK, Assange stayed in a sprawling ten bedroom Georgian mansion supplied by Vaughan Smith, the founder of yet another dubious “independent media” organization, the Frontline Club, a highly secretive and exclusive “media club” stacked with war propagandists primarily from mainstream British media outlets. Several members of the Club were highly involved in pushing the Snowden psyop and in 2007, the Club interviewed Russian-Jewish oligarch Boris Berezovsky after he claimed to be orchestrating an apparently quite public coup against Vladimir Putin. However, there is much reason to believe that this was merely meant to further play into the anti-oligarch, anti-organized crime song and dance Putin pulls, because before Putin ascended to the Russian presidency, he met secretly with Berezovsky five times at his Spanish villa to discuss Putin’s replacing the ailing Boris Yeltsin.
  • In 2011, famed Zionist lawyer Alan Dershowitz, part of Jeffrey Epstein, Les Wexner and Ghislaine and Robert Maxwell’s pedophilic blackmail ring, joined Assange’s legal defense team because of Wikileaks perceived promotion of “democracy” in the Middle East, which is merely a cloak for Israel’s agenda of fracturing and dominating the Middle East.

Not only does Assange raise more than a few alarms, Wikileaks as an organization behaves in a fashion unbefitting of a legitimate whistleblower organization that at the very best suggests that Wikileaks is a merely a cynical band of digital marketers being used by and latching on to political factions and at the very worst an outright intelligence front:

  • Wikileaks (like Snowden and his partners in the media) release most of their information in tranches – it’s systematically doled out in a controlled fashion and release dates are opportunistically timed. This is highly suspicious behavior indicating publicity-seeking and/or cooperation with some other entity. The vast majority of whistleblowers and leakers dump all of their data at once immediately after they’re given the opportunity to release it. Most other leakers also don’t allow establishment journalists from outlets such as the New York Times (one of whom happened to be a member of the CFR and Aspen Institute) to heavily redact and edit their documents either. The content of Wikileaks material is suspect as well. Of all the Wikileaks diplomatic cable dumps, mention of Israel is curiously almost entirely absent, and instead, conveniently for Israel (even according to Benjamin Netanyahu, who says Israel “worked in advance” to prevent damage from leaks), trumped up Iranian nuclear threat propaganda is ubiquitous in its cable dumps. Perhaps this is the reason why right-wing Zionist kingmaker Rupert Murdoch’s Fox News is so friendly to Assange, on top of Assange’s friendliness towards Murdoch accessory Trump and his back-channeling with lavender mafia-linked GOP operative Roger Stone. The bottom line is that, clearly Wikileaks and/or whoever is providing Wikileaks with its content is selectively picking and choosing what to hand over. So far, all emails/documents that have been analyzed have been verified as coming where they appear to come from and lacking any alternation via authentication of cryptographic signatures attached to all emails, but with Wikileak’s possible intelligence connections and background, it (or, more likely, whoever leaked the emails to them in the first place) could very well have knowledge of various proprietary cryptographic hash functions, meaning they could’ve effectively ‘forged’ authentication signatures across many email clients.
  • Wikileaks is hypocritically opaque and obfuscatory about how it raises and handles funds. It taps less than 5 percent of funds received through PayPal and bank money transfers (not even bothering to pay for Chelsea Manning’s legal defense). And, according to a Wikileaks funds manager, it also likely receives sizable off-the-books donations from private sources. Even funds it procures from the public at large are collected and obscured in a complex roundabout method through the Wau Holland Foundation, a Hamburg-based nonprofit and freedom of information advocacy group. John Young of the genuine leak website Cryptome noted a pattern of behavior exhibited by Wikileaks that is similar to that of intelligence agencies and fronts. Other Wikileaks insiders have remarked on Cryptome that there is much internal strife within Wikileaks itself over Julian Assange’s mystifying and erratic behavior as well as his near total control over the group’s finances.[10][11]
  • Ever since its inception, Wikileaks has insisted that anyone who gifts leaks to them sign a nondisclosure agreement, making unpublished leaked material “solely the property of Wikileaks.” This means that Wikileaks has full control over anything they manage to get their hands on – they can destroy it, selectively publish material, release it in tranches (not typical of real whistleblowers), etc. and there’s nothing the originator of the leaks can do about it lest they be financially and legally ruined by Wikileaks. This is a massive indicator of a sham whistleblower operation.[12]
  • When Wikileaks was initially formed, it stated that it’s primary aim was to release leaked documents coming out of “China, Russia, and oppressive regimes in Eurasia, the Middle East and sub-Saharan Africa”, all of which incidentally happen to be the foremost targets of US intelligence, leaving out maybe only Latin America. When it initially launched, Wikileaks itself claimed to have been “founded by Chinese dissidents, mathematicians and startup company technologists, from the US, Taiwan, Europe, Australia and South Africa.” Its advisory board “[included] representatives from expatriate Russian and Tibetan refugee communities, reporters, a former US intelligence analyst and cryptographers.”
  • Wikileaks’ recent ‘Vault 7’ CIA document dump laying out hundreds of putative CIA hacking tools appears to be nothing more than a classic limited hangout and probably partially fraudulent. Almost every single hacking technique, vulnerability and exploit “exposed” in the Vault 7 leak had been known to cybersecurity experts for years and some of the content within the documents appears to have been lifted straight off of Reddit, a disinformation hive which is itself one of the foremost proliferators and progenitors of a variety of comical Wikileaks-based conspiracy theories.
  • Wikileaks, as discussed in the Snowden section of this article, is intimately connected to the national security state derived and funded internet privacy hactivist movement, anchored by Edward Snowden, Pierre Omidyar, Glenn Greenwald/The Intercept, the EFF, FPF, Tor, BGG, etc.
Palantir’s predictive crime modeling platform

Of course, Wikileaks is only one half of the story. It leaks the documents and emails and the defense-connected Trump digital campaign propagates them and weaves a lunatic narrative around them. The two primary anchors of the right-wing populist digital campaign (as far as we know) are Robert Mercer/Cambridge Analytica and Peter Thiel/Palantir. Before being hired by the Trump campaign (likely through its owner, Robert Mercer’s relationship with media manipulator Steve Bannon), Cambridge Analytica was employed by the Ted Cruz campaign and the pro-Brexit campaign in the UK. Analytica’s London-based parent company, SCL Group, has been involved in orchestrating military disinformation campaigns and devising “psychological warfare” techniques for the British defense establishment.[13] Analytica essentially infers traits about internet users through analyzing browsing history, location data, purchasing habits, etc. as well as unstructured data (such as full text) in order to tailor political messages to them in a discriminate fashion. Palantir, founded and owned by PayPal co-founder turned venture capital billionaire futurist and Facebook board member Peter Thiel, is a large analytics/data mining firm contracted almost exclusively by the intelligence community (the CIA in particular), law enforcement and large banks. It is basically one of the key analytics and information processing arms of the intelligence community – it’s software is used (using the intelligence community’s gargantuan dragnet and social media user data as inputs) to detect and predict target behavior. Peter Thiel is one of Trump’s closest advisors and served on his transition team. Thiel has demonstrated that he has extensive knowledge of Trump’s analytics-driven digital media campaign, which isn’t surprising given the fact that “Thiel employees” (read: Palantir) have been seconded to work for the Trump campaign. All political candidates now utilize analytics, but the Trump campaign very likely had an upper hand having scored two (and possibly more) intelligence-connected analytics firms, which naturally will have larger data sets to toy with.

Palantir’s financial analytics dashboard

Both Cambridge Analytica and Palantir specialize in data analytics/data mining (which is essentially teasing meaningful patterns out of data) and machine learning (which is computers “learning” to generate original predictive models) which, within the context of politics, apply to psychographics (classifying people for targeting), message tailoring, sentiment manipulation, etc. This digital media campaign (along with Hillary Clinton’s) certainly featured underhanded techniques such as click farming, creating fake social media accounts/bots (almost half of Trump’s Twitter followers are bots), permeating the internet, Facebook, Twitter, etc. with suspect articles and so forth. According to federal investigators currently looking into the use of bots in the 2016 presidential campaign, bot-engineered traffic to sites such as Breitbart (which is partially owned by Robert Mercer), Infowars, RT, SputnikNews, 4chan, Reddit, YourNewsWire, Voat, etc. was a significant driver of many of the pro-Trump and anti-Clinton viral stories surrounding the election (e.g. Pizzagate, Hillary’s health, George Soros voting machines, etc.) and that it may have been “one of the most highly impactful information operations in the history of intelligence.”[14] Of course, this is all being chalked up to an exclusively “Russian” operation based out of St. Petersburg. While some operational headquarters may very well have been based out of Russia and it may be true that Russia was used as a proxy or staging area, the real story is with Cambridge Analytica and Peter Thiel, who are both in a position in the Trump inner circle and within the analytics/internet manipulation fields to serve as architects of this kind of sophisticated digital misinformation campaign. These kind of technologies paired with high-end analytics and data mining is probably the main reason that Trump garnered so much support online and how so many pro-Trump and anti-Clinton articles went viral. So what are some of the alt-right fever dream misinformation conspiracies that have gone viral as a result of Wikileaks likely in conjunction with Palantir/Analytica?

The most infamous is probably Pizzagate, the lurid theory originating from fake Twitter accounts and ludicrous anonymous 4chan posts that John Podesta in league with James Alefantis was running a child sex ring out of Alefantis’ Comet Ping Pong pizza restaurant. It is entirely predicated upon the Wikileaks-released leaked Podesta emails, which the proliferators of the theory fabricated a pedophile code language off of. Of course, the idea that any kind of child sex ring – especially one involving high-level political operatives and politicians – would ever be operated out of a heavily trafficked consumer-facing commercial location or orchestrated over Gmail using identifiable email addresses (whose passwords weren’t even changed until months after leaks began) is patently absurd on the face of it. But this of course didn’t stop legions of self-styled “independent investigators”, “pedophile watchdogs” and “internet sleuths” from running with the idea and continuing to elaborate and build out the bogus conspiracy by correlating generic logos for Comet Ping Pong and surrounding restaurants with pedophile symbols, attempting to construe pedophilia references from Instagram posts, falsely claiming that several outlandish paintings appearing to reference pedophilia were owned by John Podesta, etc., etc. Pizzagate as well virtually every other sensational conspiracy blathered on about by the Pizzagate ilk are cleverly implanted in people’s heads through the introduction of bizarre observations that wouldn’t have been made by anyone hadn’t the idea been suggested.

The above “codes” are entirely invented. Interestingly, Mike Cernovich (who authored the post on the right) is highly involved in downplaying the very real Epstein child sex ring as well as Alan Dershowitz’s involvement in it.

Roger Stone, an astoundingly underhanded (even for politics) GOP operative and long-time collaborator of Donald Trump’s introduced to him by prominent right-wing power structure installation and blackmail ring operator, Roy Cohn, likely featured heavily in the insertion of the Pizzagate narrative into public discourse. Stone has a colorful history of inventing stories and was, according to John Podesta himself, tipped off to the release of John Podesta’s emails by Julian Assange, or at the very lease had some kind of foreknowledge.[15] Why would this purported non-political hactivist Assange slip information to one of the GOP’s most notorious tricksters? It certainly makes more sense within the framework of Wikileaks and Assange being effective intelligence operations.

For a highly detailed refutation of Pizzagate, see this article

The Twitter post that initially sparked the Pizzagate theory referenced the FBI’s investigation into Anthony Weiner’s laptop as being part of a wider investigation into pedophilia. This is utterly false, but it’s worth pointing out that Anthony Weiner (and his wife Huma Abedin) could very well have been the target of an orchestrated right-wing hacking and/or entrapment campaign. The metadata in the “leaked” photos of him on Yfrog and Twitter indicate that his Twitter account was indeed hacked and his Facebook account had been hacked a week earlier.[16] Additionally, the New York Post, part of Rupert Murdoch’s right-wing media empire, has been on top of many of the Weiner embarrassments from the beginning. It has inexplicably and mysteriously obtained many text and Twitter private message conversations between Weiner and one of his unidentified victims – the New York Post does not explain how it came into possession of the conversations, which is standard practice.[17] There’s two possibilities – 1) the “mystery brunette”, who is supposedly a Trump supporter and NRA member, was a provocateur sent in to entrap and embarrass Weiner (however, she has never acknowledged leaking the conversations); or 2) the New York Post obtained the conversations through hackers. If this is the case, the illicitly obtained conversations likely came from within Rupert Murdoch’s vast electronic surveillance and hacking network which was exposed in the UK in 2010-2011 causing a massive scandal and extends to Murdoch’s media assets in the US as well.

Summation of the News International hacking scandal

Roger Stone and the Trump misinformation grid’s fingerprints are all over another Wikileaks story as well – the DNC leaks. Stone admitted to having talked privately with “Guccifer 2.0”, which is supposedly a composite identity for two Russian hackers, “Fancy Bear” and “Cozy Bear”, both of whom are, according to the intelligence community, responsible for hacking the DNC and Emmanuel Macron’s campaign (whose emails were also leaked by Wikileaks). The claim that “Russians” were responsible for hacking Macron is very likely false given the fact that the head of France’s cyber-security agency told the Associated Press that “no trace” of Russian meddling and that it could have been “practically anyone”. In reality, nobody on the outside knows exactly who is responsible for this recent wave of breaches. The government has presented virtually zero evidence that the Russian government was behind the hacks of either the DNC or Macron’s campaign. If this truly were the work of sophisticated hackers deployed or hired by Russia, the NSA, CIA and/or FBI could provide evidence and detailed analysis of the attack and exfiltration and how the stolen data was routed and be able to present it in such a way that it would not compromise their methods or sources.

Because the DNC refused to give the FBI access to their servers to investigate the incident, the only “evidence” we have for Russian involvement is the analysis of the attack by Crowdstrike, a cybersecurity firm whose chief technical officer is a senior fellow with the anti-Russia think tank, The Atlantic Council. Crowdstrike’s own evidence is weak and inconclusive – Cyrillic text files, known Russian or Ukrainian cryptographic keys, Russian IP addresses, etc. could very easily have been the result of actors using proxies, the result of outsourced hackers or intentionally left in the server logs by someone who knew what they were doing so as to make it appear that Russia or anyone else was behind the attack (something that intelligence agencies are known to do), while in reality the attack could possibly have been orchestrated/directed by one of the spook entities surrounding Donald Trump, such as the Mossad, neocon-Zionist CIA spook James Woolsey, Peter Thiel or Erik Prince of Blackwater infamy. Even if the hackers were Russian, this means very little and certainly does not translate into Russian state support or sanctioning of the attacks – many for-hire hackers are located Russia and throughout Eastern Europe. But the bottom line is that any hacker that knows what they’re doing knows how to cover their tracks, meaning the indications that the hack originated from Russia are there for a reason, perhaps to serve as a smokescreen for deeper covert domestic involvement in the election.

Seth Rich

The right-wing misinformation network, in contrast to the mainstream media’s Russia obsession, thrust the notion that deceased DNC staffer Seth Rich was the source of the DNC leak and that he passed the leaked trove along to Wikileaks (there is no hard evidence to support this). While Rich’s death was suspicious, the dubiousness of the Wikileaks angle of the story almost begins to compete with Pizzagate. All of the characters in the story are seemingly involved in an incestuous self-reinforcing circle. Rich’s family was put in touch with private investigator Rod Wheeler (the main source of the assertion that Rich was the leak) through Dallas businessman Ed Butowsky, a (surprise surprise) Fox commentator and Breitbart columnist. Butowsky additionally funded Wheeler, who himself is a Fox News contributor. Rich’s family claims that Kim Dotcom, the self-proclaimed “internet entrepreneur” of Megaupload fame living essentially in exile in New Zealand, attempted to hack their son’s email account presumably to plant evidence suggesting Rich was Wikileaks’ DNC source. A supposed FBI file investigating the relationship between Rich and Wikileaks made the rounds in the alternative media, but was later found to be fake.

Snowden, Wikileaks, Assange, Trump – what do they all have in common? They’ve all been undeniably built up by both the controlled fourth estate/mainstream media and alternative media, which, contrary to what many of the phony digital marketers and publicity seekers in the altmedia would have you believe, is highly manipulated by behind the scenes characters like Robert Mercer and completely vulnerable to digital traffic-engineering campaigns which are, unbeknown to most, regularly coordinated by political campaigns, intelligence agencies/assets, digital marketing groups, corporations, PR firms, etc. Anyone with a sense of discernment would notice the contradiction between these kinds of characters’ purported political outsider renegade anti-establishment status and the fact that they’re perpetually broadcast in the media to the public. While it is true that a large part of the reason for this is the fact that the public loves a hero, but the question must be asked – why are these people and groups specifically so favored while others are shut out of public discourse entirely? My answer is that the ones who do somehow make it through the filter are always in some way sanctioned because all of them without exception have covert deep state ties which are always buried by the media itself.

Hidden Agendas, Part One: Snowden, The Intercept & the Pentagon-spawned internet privacy movement

This post is part of a two-part series. Read Part Two on Wikileaks and its relation with the Trump media complex here.

A rather prominent theme in the news the past half decade (and particularly the past couple years) has been computer hacking and government document leaks, ranging from Wikileaks to supposed Russian hacking to Snowden/NSA leaks to a constant barrage of stories fearmongering over the alleged vulnerability of critical infrastructures to being hacked by North Korea, ISIS, Russia, or whatever other bogeyman happens to be the flavor of the day. As with pretty much anything else, coverage of supposed heroic renegade hactivists, whistleblowers and leakers is full of half-truths and subtle yet critical omissions and behind every accusation and every ostensibly “pro-transparency” leak and internet privacy advocacy outfit is a hidden agenda and several layers of intrigue that must be carefully dissected.

Edward Snowden is, in large part, the foundational myth upon which the whistleblower and internet privacy communities are based and has spawned or mainstreamed a menagerie of “pro-transparency” and internet privacy advocacy organizations and media outlets. Sure, many existed pre-Snowden, but Snowden popularized the issue and propelled many of today’s preeminent leak outlets (most notably The Intercept) into the mainstream as well as promoted (government compromised and likely partially backdoored) internet privacy tools such as Tor to the wider population. But before discussing legacy spook involvement in internet privacy, it’s important to establish some of the reasons why the Snowden story simply doesn’t add up and why the Snowden revelations were likely a limited hangout operation intended to lure those concerned with institutionalized electronic eavesdropping into honeypots, among other reasons.

Snowden, with Electronic Frontier Foundation and Tor stickers on his laptop

Snowden’s background and story are filled with incongruities and inconsistencies and he clearly exaggerated his role in intelligence and intelligence contractor circles – he claimed to have been an ‘infrastructure analyst’ and ‘chief technologist’ conjuring up methods of working around electronic security systems, but the core of his work was as a less than glorious system administrator, of which there are about 1,000 employed by or contracted out by the NSA (meaning that about 1 in 40 NSA employees are system administrators). Despite this, a general picture can be sussed out. He was born into a family of lifelong federal government and military employees and lived near to NSA headquarters at Fort Meade throughout most of his childhood and adolescence. Perhaps this family background explains how Snowden was able to, early in his life, land highly technical jobs that typically require at least a 4-year degree and a decent amount of relevant experience without either. Snowden had muddled and cavalier political views and attitudes – he displayed some libertarian tendencies, supported Ron Paul’s economic policies and virulently despised Barack Obama, in particular his action to place “a politician” in charge of the CIA (referring to Leon Panetta). He was active on Arstechnica’s forums from 2001 through 2012, where he, on top of having generally been “a dick”, exhibited at least up until 2009 strong support for the national security apparatus, American covert operations in the Middle East (particularly Iran) and at one point claimed that leakers “should be shot in the balls.”[1][2] This is all in clear contradiction to the restrained, highly tailored rhetoric wherein he vaunted the practice of whistlelowing and the polished, refined persona Snowden began putting out in 2013, indicating some kind of deception (i.e., putting on an act) and perhaps coaching.

This kind of blatant PR campaign was never put on by the mainstream press for NSA leakers who’d previously exposed almost everything contained in the Snowden documents.

This isn’t to say that Snowden was fully aware of the entire scheme, in fact he may have had pure intentions and perhaps did on his own accord begin collecting documents to leak, but was discovered and compromised at some point along the way and brought into a limited hangout operation. It’s rather hard to believe that, having been downloading top secret documents onto flash drives for over year, Snowden could have gotten away with what he did without ever being caught. As a system administrator at both Dell (which has an NSA contracting division) and Booz Allen, Snowden had elevated privileges beyond that of your average analyst – he had root access to whichever systems he worked on as well as the NSA’s intranet (it’s internal communications network separate from the internet). However, this doesn’t fully explain how Snowden accessed and exfiltrated everything he did. In order to gain access to documents in systems he didn’t have access to, Snowden allegedly convinced other NSA contractors to give him their system user passwords, giving him access to their self-signed SSH/secure shell certificates (SSH is a network cryptographic and security protocol that essentially authenticates users), after which he was able to combine them with his own fabricated SSH keys to successfully exfiltrate the documents.[3] [4]

This is a possible (but still somewhat doubtful in the context of the NSA) explanation for how Snowden gained access to the documents, but further problems arise when you consider the fact that this highly illegal activity was going on for over a year at two different employers and that Snowden was regularly downloading documents onto flash storage and taking them out of his building. The NSA doesn’t rely only on passwords and network security protocols to keep data secure. It also employs highly sophisticated threat detection systems and software (in addition to human supervisors) that monitor and analyze file storage and network traffic, detecting anomalous patterns indicating suspicious behavior (which surely includes downloading large amounts of data onto flash storage, irregular SSH certs, failed login attempts, etc.).[5] All of this indicates that Snowden’s stealing of documents was perhaps sanctioned and facilitated by some higher authority, or that his entire story was simply fabricated and that all of the documents were preloaded for him by someone else. Or, perhaps, Snowden was conveniently reassigned by the NSA to a location (Hawaii) where the latest in threat detection software was allegedly not installed so that he could more easily get away with what he did. This could merely be an excuse thought up by the NSA’s PR team, and you would still have to account for how Snowden was able to get away with downloading tens of thousands of documents while in Maryland in early 2012 before he moved to Hawaii, but it’s still worth considering nonetheless.

After obtaining leave from work under the guise of getting epilepsy treatment, Snowden fled to Hong Kong (of all places to flee the US government from) where he worked with Glenn Greenwald and The Guardian in releasing the first tranche of documents as well as filming the documentary Citizenfour. In Hong Kong, Snowden instructed his lawyers to reach out to Wikileaks – another problematic leak outlet which will be discussed later – which was responsible for obtaining special refugee papers for Snowden, knowing he would likely end up a stateless person. Sarah Harrison, Julian Assange’s top aide, was dispatched to Hong Kong to interface with Snowden and Greenwald & associates. Harrison accompanied Snowden on his flight to Moscow from Hong Kong, which Snowden only boarded because the US government curiously waited to revoke his passport until he had already left the somewhat cooperative Hong Kong for Moscow on June 22, two weeks after he had come out as The Guardian’s source.[6]

By far the most telling aspect of the Snowden case is the anomalous treatment he received from the media – firstly, the utterly enormous deluge of coverage and free advertising Snowden received from the mainstream media is in complete contradiction with how the press treated previous legitimate whistleblowers such as Tom Drake, William Binney, etc. Not only that, but a chorus of support rang out for Snowden – he was exalted by much of the press and propelled into celebrity status, and this positive coverage easily drowned out the shrill cries of right-wing national security boosters to hang Snowden in the middle of Times Square. This exceptional media treatment of Snowden is probably the most suspicious part of the Snowden narrative and very strongly suggests that there is more than meets the eye with this far-fetched character.

Pierre Omidyar, founder of eBay.
The geeky-looking and innocent-presenting Pierre Omidyar. This is a pattern seen in many closetedly politically astute and connected tech billionaires.

Snowden’s collaborators in the media who have been responsible for the methodical, staggered release of the leaked documents are even more questionable than Snowden himself. Glenn Greenwald, who allegedly initially turned Snowden down because he couldn’t be bothered to communicate with Snowden over encrypted email, later came crawling back to him after Snowden contacted filmmaker Laura Poitras. Greenwald, in league with Snowden, is releasing documents at a glacial pace (first and foremost to milk them for all the ad revenue they’re worth). Many of these documents have been published through The Intercept, Greenwald’s joint venture with the reticent national security apparatus connected billionaire and eBay founder, Pierre Omidyar. Omidyar, through his Omidyar Network (which is essentially a lobbying effort seeking political influence), provides funding for The Intercept as well as many other ostensible internet privacy and government whistleblower support groups, such as the Freedom of the Press Foundation, First Look Media and the Electronic Frontier Foundation and actively facilitates overseas USAID ventures, most notably aiding it in funding revolutionary Ukrainian groups prior to the 2014 overthrow of Viktor Yanukovych. Omidyar frequented the Obama White House, clocking in more (official) visits than even Warren Buffet or Google’s Eric Schmidt and only one less visit than alt media phantasm, George Soros.[7]

Omidyar and his network (and therefore Greenwald indirectly) have several worrying connections to Snowden’s former employer, Booz Allen Hamilton. The first are through Globant, a Latin American software development outsourcing firm, and Innocentive, a Massachusetts-based contract R&D firm:

Sal Gambianco, one of the principal investment partners with the Omidyar Network, actually sits on the board of advisors of Globant, a software company in which both the Omidyar Network and Booz Allen Hamilton, Snowden’s former employer, are major shareholders. Philip Odeen, one of the Booz Allen Hamilton board members, also sits on the Board of Directors of Globant. The Omidyar Network and Booz Allen Hamilton are also both major investors in Innocentive.[8]

Omidyar’s Hawaiian venture capital fund, the Ulupono Initiative, which regularly hosts defense contractor expos in Hawaii, lists a former Booz Allen vice president as a general partner. As if it couldn’t get any more incestuous, in 2015, one of Edward Snowden’s former bosses (a director at Booz Allen’s Hawaii branch where Snowden was previously employed) was named an Omidyar Fellow.[9]

The above information comports with a generalized pattern of government/military development and financing of internet privacy technology and tools. Many today are aware of Silicon Valley and the technology industry’s concert with the national security/defense apparatus as well as the fact that much of the industry and the technology it is founded upon were seeded in military/defense research labs and/or funded and loosely directed in some way by government. The most instructive example today is probably Google, which originated as a Department of Defense directed and funded data mining project, received significant funding from the DoD in its early years as a company and to this day remains a multi billion dollar intelligence contractor and collaborator in government research (although Google’s PR team has made sure to keep this for the most part obscured). Seemingly every single major technology company has at one point consulted with, received funding from or adopted executives or researchers from the Pentagon (DARPA most often), In-Q-Tel (the CIA’s venture capital arm) or the Highlands Forum (the Pentagon’s unofficial, highly secretive technology think tank). This of course all flies in the face of the trendy, funky and pure image the technology industry has fostered – behind the smokescreen of bean bag chairs, free-spirited dresscodes, organic lunches, pro-privacy tokenism and free market innovation overtones and innuendo is something quite sinister.

For an in-depth analysis of the relationship between the technology sector (in particular Google) and the intelligence & defense communities, read Nafeez Ahmed’s excellent, comprehensive two-part series:

Part 1

Part 2

However, fewer are aware of the intelligence community’s bolstering of popular internet privacy advocacy groups and anonymity tools, in financial, engineering/development and advertising capacities. The most glaring example is anonymous communications network Tor, which is endlessly promulgated by Edward Snowden, who admitted to running multiple Tor exit nodes while at the NSA. A Tor sticker is displayed prominently on his laptop, and, bizarrely, while in Hawaii in the process of stealing a trove of top secret documents, Snowden contacted a Tor developer in an attempt to get more of his NSA colleagues to begin setting up their own personal Tor nodes.

Visual depiction of how the Tor network and onion routing work – as traffic flows through each Tor node, an encryption layer (analogous to a layer of an onion) is decrypted and stripped away

The NSA, GCHQ, FBI and probably many other intelligence entities throughout the globe run a significant portion of Tor nodes and in particular exit nodes, which fully decrypt traffic after it’s been circuitously routed through the Tor network, giving them the capability to potentially infer through web request information and other traffic (such as that of targeted servers) the IP address that the request came from (thus defeating the purpose of Tor) as well as the ability to stage man-in-the-middle attacks to compromise passwords. Through statistical analysis/traffic correlation, intelligence agencies and even academic researchers running fake (or, in the NSA’s case more likely compromised) websites/servers and observing the traffic exiting the Tor network have been able to determine at a very high rate of success the beginning and endpoints at which traffic flows through the Tor network, thus compromising anonymity. Tor is known to be totally defenseless against adversaries observing and correlating traffic entering and exiting the Tor network, a capability the NSA very often has given the fact that it runs a significant number of Tor nodes, has compromised many websites/servers and internet users, and taps virtually every major internet exchange point – all of these are a rich source of traffic to analyze and correlate, making it that much easier. And it’s not just the NSA and GCHQ Tor should be worried about – part of the FBI’s Silk Road operation included taking complete control of a server run in the Tor cloud, something Tor claims is impossible to do.[10] [11] [12] [13]

Visual representation of how Tor can be compromised through traffic analysis

Curious then that Edward Snowden vigorously proselytizes an anonymity tool that he must know the NSA has at least partially compromised even according to one of the documents he leaked. (Although I, for one, am skeptical of the veracity of some of the documents for the reasons above.) The NSA itself suggests that it would be “counterproductive” if Tor were to be discouraged because it concentrates many of its targets into one convenient pot. After this document was authored, a fishy former NSA contractor comes out ceaselessly promoting Tor without cautioning his audience that it doesn’t in the slightest guarantee end-to-end anonymity and is not an end-to-end encryption protocol. Additionally, according to a German expose, the NSA exploits the existence Tor and another anonymity tools and networks by tracking near everyone who downloads the software in order to more efficiently narrow down a range of targets.

Source: NSA Tor Stinks presentation

Tor in fact originated as a mid-90s Naval Research Laboratory project that intended to prevent assorted intelligence and law enforcement operatives from being unmasked while using the internet (i.e., providing cover for intelligence gathering as well as for deployed agents accessing the internet). In 2002, two MIT graduates on contract from DARPA and the US Naval Research Laboratory came on board and spawned what is today known as Tor and were responsible for expanding its size and scope and therefore its use beyond spooks to foreign agents, hackers, activists, drug dealers, child pornographers, terrorists, etc. Not only did it cloak American intelligence operatives using the internet, it also became a veritable honeypot. Later, in the mid-2000s, Naval Research officially disassociated itself from Tor and handed its management over to the Electronic Frontier Foundation, which proceeded along with Tor’s developers to omit and downplay Tor’s origins and original intended use and instead quite literally marketed it as an online anonymity tool for anti-surveillance digital crusaders.[14]

“I forgot to mention earlier something that will make you look at me in a new light. I contract for the United States Government to built anonymity technology for them and deploy it. They don’t think of it as anonymity technology, although we use that term. They think of it as security technology. They need these technologies so they can research people they are interested in, so they can have anonymous tip lines, so that they can buy things from people without other countries knowing what they are buying, how much they are buying and where it is going, that sort of thing.” – Roger Dingledine, principal Tor developer

To this day, Tor (as well as dozens of other trendy anonymity apps and tools such as CryptoCat and Open Whisper Systems) is almost entirely funded by the defense-surveillance apparatus (100% if you count Google as part of that apparatus) and therefore all of its employees and developers work indirectly for the national security state. Among its underwriters include the DoD/Pentagon, State Department, Google, Stanford Research Institute (a Pentagon satellite institution) and the Broadcasting Board of Governors, a CIA spin-off and successor to the former official US propaganda agency, the USIA of Radio Free Asia and Radio Free Europe infamy. The BGG is primarily involved in funding the counterfeit internet privacy marketing infrastructure through organizations like the Freedom of the Press Foundation, which works round-the-clock to promote tools like Tor and foster its pro-privacy image and was, interestingly enough, founded the very same week Edward Snowden emailed Glenn Greenwald for the intent purpose of funding Wikileaks.[15] [16]

“The original *QUESTION* posed that led to the invention of Onion Routing was, “Can we build a system that allows for bi-directional communications over the Internet where the source and destination cannot be determined by a mid-point?” The *PURPOSE* was for DoD / Intelligence usage (open source intelligence gathering, covering of forward deployed assets, whatever). Not helping dissidents in repressive countries. Not assisting criminals in covering their electronic tracks. Not helping bit-torrent users avoid MPAA/RIAA prosecution. Not giving a 10 year old a way to bypass an anti-porn filter. Of course, we knew those would be other unavoidable uses for the technology, but that was immaterial to the problem at hand we were trying to solve (and if those uses were going to give us more cover traffic to better hide what we wanted to use the network for, all the better…I once told a flag officer that much to his chagrin).” – Michael Reed, an inventor of “onion routing”

A critical link between the Tor-Pentagon-Snowden nexus and Wikileaks is Jacob Appelbaum, a Tor developer whose salary is provided by Pentagon and State Department grants and travels the world giving Tor-centered anonymity training sessions to pro-Western “activists” and officials in repressive states such as Qatar, yet brands himself as a punk rock hactivist rebel. Appelbaum has been an important ambassador between the Tor-Snowden camp and Wikileaks and an important Wikileaks volunteer – he’s vigorously promoted Wikileaks as he’s traveled the world giving speeches and presentations in addition to aiding it in installing Tor technology on its servers.

Appelbaum spends much of each year leading Tor training sessions around the world, often conducted in secrecy to protect activists whose lives are in danger. Some, like the sex-worker advocates from Southeast Asia he tutored, had limited knowledge of computers. Others, like a group of students Appelbaum trained at a seminar in Qatar, are highly sophisticated: One worked on the government’s censorship network, another works for a national oil company, and a third created an Al-Jazeera message board that allows citizens to post comments anonymously.[17]

Given that the Snowden leaks didn’t really reveal much that we didn’t already know from William Binney, Tom Drake, James Bamford as well as whistleblowers from other agencies and exposes from the ’70s onward about the “Five Eyes”/ECHELON comprehensive electronic surveillance network – Snowden’s contribution was largely revealing meaninglessly broad technicalities, a few impressive special purpose NSA toys, and putting official internal names to the NSA’s activities, most of which had already been exposed and were already known by those interested. So, how materially damaging apart from a medium-term PR crisis the Snowden leaks was to the NSA and surveillance state is debatable (if anything, it instilled a sense of awe in people over its technical capabilities). So, perhaps the NSA/DoD permitted and controlled the Snowden leak so as to lure more people (read: targets) into using a basket of Pentagon-compromised, spook-funded trendy anonymity tools, most notably Tor, and away from legitimate anonymity tools and more conventional (and typically safer) VPN technology. If it’s true, as is suspected, that the intelligence community has indeed totally or even partially compromised most anonymity tools (Tor, VPN, etc.) as well as encryption protocols, then Snowden’s purpose could have been to manipulate its target base into adopting these compromised technologies to more easily trace targets through the use of these tools and assemble them in one convenient location. Of course, it’s one thing to determine that a story is fishy or that critical information is being withheld, but an entirely different thing to determine why deception is occurring – we can only theorize as to why it is and come up with our own conjecture.

The second part of this series covers Wikileaks, the media and their relationship with Donald Trump.

False flag series part 1: General arguments against hoax theories, disinformation & coincidence shopping

In this series, I will cover extensive evidence that several high profile mass killings have likely had government covert/black operations components to them. The two key evidences indicating this are 1) the near universal presence of additional accomplices not recognized in the official stories; and 2) the subsequent cover-up by government/law enforcement and media regarding additional accomplices, among other things. Additionally, in many of these high profile shootings and attacks, the patsies (whether they be complete or partial patsies) show many signs of having been provoked, harassed, entrapped and manipulated into participating in the plots they were supposedly involved in primarily by what are likely private contractors composed of ex-intelligence services & law enforcement personnel (FBI, CIA, DHS, police, military, etc.) using a range of techniques from blackmail to psychoactive drugs to “electronic harassment”. At the very least, the vast majority of these highly publicized massacres have been extensively covered up for whatever reason.

My primary motivation for doing this is to counter popular theories propagated on social media platforms such as YouTube, Twitter, 4chan and Reddit that these events are “staged hoaxes” and “never happened.” These outlandish theories have become astonishingly popular since the Aurora and Sandy Hook shootings , right as viral so-called “news” began to proliferate on social media through websites like nodisinfo, yournewswire, YouTube channels such as redsilverj/TeamWakeEmUP, LifttheVeil, etc. and additional throngs of dubious blogs and personalities. An entire cottage industry has emerged out of the analysis of mass shootings as staged events. The vast majority of the hoaxers’ arguments rest on highly questionable analysis of various video footage and photographs, their own incredulity regarding the event and the apparently bizarre behavior of those involved afterwards, which the hoaxers assert is proof positive that they are faking their involvement and that the shooting or bombing simply never occurred (hence the ever-so-popular term ‘crisis actor’). Many of their so-called evidences are literally outright lies and/or fabrications and several high-profile hoaxers routinely and consistently lie and fabricate evidence as well as directly or indirectly stalk, threaten and sue anyone who dares call them out on their deceits.

I won’t counter all specific claims made by hoaxers in relation to each event, as that has already been accomplished by others who have exhaustively poured over every detail of every irrelevant rabbit hole the hoaxers have ever gone down and refuted their claims, but I will, before diving into my evidences, address general claims and talking points hoax theory promoters put out seemingly every time any event occurs and discuss the near categorical implausibility of hoax explanations. Unfortunately, the conspiracy community has increasingly embraced absurdism and abandoned any sense of discernment or having a systematized method for analyzing events, and the hoaxers have contributed greatly to this.

By far the most powerful generalized argument against any staged/hoax theory is the first principle of compartmentalization, an umbrella under which keeping secrets/conspiracies as small as possible sits. Compartmentalization is essentially the practice within organizations (be they intelligence agencies, governments, corporations, private groups, etc.) of dividing jobs, tasks and the information required to do said jobs/tasks up amongst various individuals and/or groups. Within the context of this blog post (covert operations, intelligence agencies, etc.), each individual’s knowledge of the goings on in any other area of the group or conspiracy is limited as much as possible, and this is done so as to minimize the risk of the whole conspiracy/covert operation being exposed by someone within leaking to the press or any other interested party, accidentally spilling information, having information tortured out of them, etc. – the purpose is to keep the full conspiracy secret.

8063128However subtle this is, it is probably the most crucial aspect of maintaining strategic and operational secrecy (and therefore success) in any organization. It is how the CIA, NSA, FBI, MI6, Mossad, terrorist organizations, large police departments, many NGOs/think tanks, and large corporations (among many others) work and how they keep their plans under wraps – many large corporations even have highly secretive so-called “skunk works” divisions (named after Lockheed Martin’s formerly secret black budget aircraft development team in the desert outside Los Angeles) that carry out prototyping and high-level R&D known only to high level executives. If a conspiracy is not highly compartmentalized, it will almost surely at some point be exposed due to accidental or intentional leaks. Hardly anyone involved in Iran-Contra, the Manhattan Project, Watergate, MKULTRA, BCCI, Operation Gladio, Operation Paperclip, CIA drug running or any other conspiracy were aware of the whole operation before it became exposed. Sure, some have intimations and suspicions and perfect compartmentalization is impossible, but no full context or hard proof typically reaches anyone it’s not supposed to.

Any threat of leaks by those involved in covert operations and conspiracies is systematically drilled out of them through years of training to merely take orders and ask no questions as well as bribes and veritable threats/blackmail.

The fundamental problem with hoax/staged explanations for mass killings is that an entirely staged event would be impossible to compartmentalize, in other words, it would have to involve far too many people with near full knowledge of the plot (if not before, after the fact when it gets on the news) for it to succeed either in its goal or keeping the fact that it was a hoax secret. In order to pull of a full or even partial hoax staged openly and in public, hundreds upon hundreds of people would have to be involved – tens if not hundreds of crisis actors pretending to be victims and/or witnesses (and if the “victims” and their families and everyone who knows them are real people, you must hide them for the rest of eternity), all law enforcement and medical professionals who came in contact with the scene, reporters/media personnel on scene, etc. It would have to be ensured that none of the involved actors’ families or friends ever found out, that no one who was in the vicinity of the hoax or anyone who witnessed anything who weren’t supposed to ever say anything, identities would have to be faked or manipulated for the victims and perpetrators (and cover stories created), many people would have to pretend to have known the victims & perpetrators, etc.

Additionally, if, as many of the hoax theorists claim, the “crisis actors” involved in the hoax are unemployed B-rate acting school graduates (and many times this accusation is the result of lazy and haphazard background searches), are they really expected to reliably keep such a massive secret, even if they are bribed or threatened? To think so would be preposterous – they aren’t spooks or government contractors used to simply taking orders and not talking out of school who are aware of the very serious repercussions of doing so. And yet, we haven’t had a single whistleblower from inside any of these supposed staged hoaxes exposing the event, naming names, giving specifics, etc.

It would be one thing if there were a plot involving this many people where no one individual (except the group hatching the orchestrating the plot) knew the entire operation or its purpose, but a hoax shooting, bombing or attack would require that everyone be aware of the narrative/story being spun (far in advance too, of course) and all in one place at the same time (in other words, almost zero compartmentalization). It is utterly implausible and highly unlikely that anything on that magnitude could be contained with that many of full knowledge of the conspiracy being involved even if compartmentalization is attempted – the entire plot is simply impossible to obfuscate.

Why go through all the trouble of “staging” this convoluted disjointed mess when you could simply make it happen?

The hoax theory unnecessarily overcomplicates any explanation of a shooting or bombing, has no discernible motive (why a hoax when they can just hire mercenaries to carry out a real attack – much cleaner), is not required to account for any observations in any highly publicized massacre so far and virtually every oddity the hoaxers have ever dug up have far simpler and far more likely alternate explanation that account for all of the observations. The official stories of Sandy Hook, Columbine, 9/11, OKC, Aurora, Boston Bombing, etc. do not overcomplicate the matter, but on the other hand cannot account for all of the observations surrounding the events, such as multiple credible eyewitness reports and occasional video evidence of accomplices not present in the official story. A much simpler explanation than a staged hoax exists that comports with and explains all observations and anomalies exists for many of these events – a very real massacre was carried out by one or more deniable mercenaries (likely privately contracted) under the direction of some government-connected entity whose roles are covered up as well as potentially the attacker the entire event is pinned on – they are either partial or full patsies who are typically killed after they’ve played their part.

This kind of covert operation is relatively simple – it very easy to compartmentalize/divide responsibility for and to keep rather small. It would only have to involve several people – the people orchestrating and hatching the false flag, patsy or patsies, one to three additional shooters or bombers, a couple handlers for the patsy, and however many (probably no more than a small division) critical law enforcement personnel to cover up for the accomplices, who are usually from special divisions within the FBI and state police and probably don’t ever have any direct involvement or knowledge of the conspiracy – they are merely predictable law enforcement officers who carry out orders and cover up whatever they’re told to for whatever reason (if one is even given). Theoretically, most of the participants wouldn’t even necessarily have to interact with each other, no one would have to know of the full plot in the run up/planning stage and it wouldn’t be unnecessarily complex or cumbersome.

“No evidence” of an attack

Many hoaxers, after all of their specific claims are countered, will resort to claiming that there simply isn’t enough photographic or video evidence to satisfy them and convince them that anyone died. The problem with this is that 1) they never specify what is “enough” evidence as well as what kind of evidence counts as evidence to them and will simply continually move the goal post; and 2) “lack of evidence” of A (the official story) is not proof of B (a staged hoax). Just because photos of deceased victims haven’t been released does not mean that a hoax occurred – 1) in most states, homicide victim images as well as images from autopsy reports and any other evidences related to criminal investigations (such as surveillance footage) are exempt from disclosure to anyone. In all other states, disclosure is strictly limited to next of kin, estate representatives, prosecutors, etc. and in states where entire autopsies are public record by default, autopsy photos can be withheld at the discretion of law enforcement; and 2) if the latter somehow didn’t apply, this could mean and would more likely mean (taking into account evidence of accomplices) that a cover up has ensued because law enforcement does not want to expose the presence of accomplices of the patsy’s.

The same goes for the withholding of any information/photographs/videos of the official perpetrators or shooters – they are not necessarily public record and may compromise the official story or the cover-up of what actually happened, but their absence is not proof of a hoax. Also, a common practice among those who are suspicious of the official stories surrounding mass bombings and shootings is searches for victims and alleged perpetrators on background checking sites such as Whitepages, Spokeo, Intelius, Pipl,,, etc. No one should ever come to any final conclusions based solely on queries of these sites – the databases they search are very often incomplete or not up to date, their web crawlers can extract incorrect information and very often estimate or infer information, etc. Genealogies, birth/death certificates and phone numbers are particularly prone to being totally inaccurate.

Search engine document/cache timestamps, indexing

Some webpages & tweets relating to attacks such as Sandy Hook, the Boston Bombing, etc. appear to have been, based upon various search engine date published/document & cache timestamps, published before the event took place, indicating foreknowledge of the attack or hoax. The problem with this is that these timestamps are not entirely accurate and can be off by several years in some cases (especially if time restriction is used in the search). Each time Google or Bing’s web crawlers & spiderers visit a webpage/html file, they attempt to estimate or infer the date the page was published and/or last updated based upon data available to be extracted from the html file and URL – sometimes the available data allows for a more accurate time and date and sometimes it doesn’t, and the search engine’s algorithms must work harder to estimate a time and date, and these can be off quite dramatically.

Highlighted area is not always accurate

In other words, the timestamp displays what Google, Bing or Yahoo thinks was the date the page was published, not the exact time that page was indexed by the search engine (although that index date can be incorporated into the estimate). The exact time a given page is published is typically only known to the webmaster and the time a page is first indexed or crawled may or may not be stored by Google or Yahoo or Microsoft and can only be determined by the webmaster by searching their server logs for visits from Google’s crawler (the “Googlebot”). Additionally, some webpages and items on webpages are not indexable and the displayed cache timestamp is based off a redirected URL or a duplicate page, however you will never know that the specific page whose cache time & date you are looking at was never technically indexed.

Highlighted area not always accurate (prone to error) and not necessarily the cache for the specific item you’re looking for.

Any number of “errors” can occur when document or cache timestamps are generated – items on websites can be postdated or backdated even though the material was actually posted at a later/earlier date than displayed, old date information can be retained from URLs that change dynamically, etc. (meaning the cache timestamp could be for something you aren’t even looking for, it could be entirely useless). Twitter timestamps are also known to be inaccurate and Facebook page date founded timestamps do not update when the name of a page is changed. Also, common sense would tell you that a shadowy group who is otherwise competent enough to near flawlessly execute gigantic staged hoaxes wouldn’t make the simple mistake of publishing webpages and online material related to the event a whole day before it occurred and that, for example with Sandy Hook, they wouldn’t involve the website for a random school in rural Ohio in their grand hoax conspiracy.

Photographic/video evidence:

Photo and video analysis is all highly interpretive and all debatable. Many conspiracy theorists (and hoaxers in particular) not only present an incomplete picture by selectively picking and choosing what photos and videos they display in order to bolster their narrative, but also outright manipulate their evidence by cropping, blurring, editing, and otherwise butchering it. This is precisely why YouTube is the premier hoaxer outlet – people like to laze around eating a bowl of ice cream watching the equivalent of a movie instead of parsing and digesting text.

“Crisis actor” evidence

The above is really a misnomer. There has been no real evidence that anyone involved in a terror attack or shooting or interviewed or captured on tape by the media have been crisis actors, only hoaxers contending that said people must be crisis actors based on their own personal evaluation of their behavior (often not in context, or presented in a totally incorrect one) – people in media video footage after the event are sometimes captured “smiling”, making strange faces, reading off cards (not at all rare for anyone interacting with the media to do in any circumstance), supposedly changing their story, etc. Another favorite is face overlays and comparisons which are supposed to prove that people from two different photos who are ostensibly different people are actually the same person. This is sheer trickery and nothing else and virtually every one of these “same person” claims have been exposed as incorrect and often fraudulent.

This kind of “analysis” is laughably shaky and isn’t proof or even an indication of anything outside that individual and by far the weakest hoax evidence there is (and, curiously enough, by far the most prevalent). And, again, this could mean many other things besides the shooting or bombing having been a staged event. Many hoaxers will back up their claims with background check site searches which allegedly prove that their “crisis actors” are actors by trade, but, as we’ve already established, those sites are often inaccurate and many of the hoaxers specific claims have been incorrect. For example with Sandy Hook, Gene Rosen was alleged to have been a member of the Screen Actors’ Guild based off a background query, but it turns out that whoever’s Spokeo or LinkedIn result they paraded all around YouTube was in fact a different Gene Rosen’s than the one involved in Sandy Hook who had never lived in Connecticut.

This isn’t to say that “crisis actors” may not be used (likely to a very small extent) to further sensationalize and emotionalize events such as mass shootings – government contractors providing “crisis actors” do exist – but there is no strong evidence or indication of this and it does not lend itself to the conclusion that “no one died” or that the entire event was a DHS “drill” or “simulation”, only that dubious “witnesses” are presented to the news media.

“Drills” & “simulations”

Almost every time a shooting or bombing ever occurs, it is revealed that some kind of terror or mass shooting drill or training simulation had taken place either within the same couple days as the event, or, in some cases, simultaneously. This is largely coincidence shopping given the fact that law enforcement terror drills & training simulations occur very frequently (often every week to every other day in major metropolitan areas) in both North America and Europe and, moreover, drills and simulations are not necessarily required to explain all observations during the event. However, it can’t be totally dismissed because it’s still rather unlikely that almost every single highly publicized mass killing just so happens to occur around a local law enforcement drill of some sort. What I can say is that the presence of some kind of drill or simulation is not proof or really even a strong indication of a staged event/hoax – simpler explanations include coincidence and that these kinds of false flag events are intentionally planned during already existing drills and simulations so that law enforcement resources (particularly law enforcement personnel not connected to the cover up) are diverted so as not to disrupt or ruin the false flag (this was particularly true on 9/11 and we do need to invoke the existence of drills to account for the lack of following of procedure by the military).

Why, assuming these events are entirely staged hoaxes and that the media entirely controlled by the [insert a spooky-sounding term like NWO or Illuminati], would the perpetrators of the deception disseminate all of the information that always comes out that tends to contradict not only other information being released, but the official story itself? Why not just put out an airtight story and eliminate any doubt as to what happened, especially if we’re dealing with something as fragile as a hoax? It makes no sense. I posit instead that firstly, the media is not entirely or largely actively controlled (it is effectively and mostly passively controlled through executives and editors) and that anomalies and discrepancies occur in media reports (especially initial ones) precisely because the media is not totally controlled and therefore cover-ups do not take effect immediately, different media organizations compete to break stories first (leading to inaccuracies), etc.

sandy-hook-second-shooter-cover-up-vik-battaile-politics-1356087588Of course, the “skeptics” (who are really there to defend the government’s story) are not immune from criticism here, either. They simply cannot explain away discrepancies as to the number of shooters or suspects or any other anomalies by simply asserting that early media reports tend to be inaccurate. Firstly, how true this is isn’t specifically known. Secondly, the initial reports in the media are not founded upon nebulous theories or speculation (that’s an easy way to get sued), they are founded upon witness statements and available information on the ground. Those witness statements and other such information remain and typically make it into official police reports as well. It’s not as if the information is positively “incorrect” – someone somewhere makes the decision not to incorporate that information into the sterilized narrative, most often based upon what a senior law enforcement official or media executive (who may or may not be involved in cover up) dictates. Thirdly, this is almost always just asserted flat-out based on how the narrative of the attack changes in the media itself and the fact that an official and final story is eventually converged on in the media. The skeptics define what is an accurate narrative based on the very thing being disputed – what actually occurred, which they define as the official/government story (in other words, the “skeptic” argument is circular).

Skeptics will also unfairly attack the reliability of eye witnesses. The oft-repeated claim that eye witness statements are unreliable entirely neglects the fact that eye witness statements must be individually evaluated based on their context and is largely predicated upon studies of eye witness reliability from suspect line-ups and court room testimony. Obviously, it is one thing for someone to pick from a line up of faces who exactly they saw commit a given crime and an entirely different thing for someone who witnessed part of a mass shooting or terror attack to merely recall the general characteristics of a person they saw (such as their frame, what color clothes they were wearing, whether they had a mask or cap on or not, etc.), when and where they saw that person, if that person was with someone else, if they saw two clearly different people, etc. Additionally, most eye witness testimony is recorded the day of the event or within the following days, meaning the memory does not have much time to be distorted or warped by outside or conflicting information and people tend to remember significant details, such as how many people they saw the day of a massacre and how they were dressed. People tend to inaccurately recall more insignificant details, such as the color of the car they witnessed hit someone else’s car in the Walgreens parking lot.

It becomes even more dire for the skeptics when multiple eye witness statements correlate and reinforce other eyewitness statements, as is the case with most of the false flags I will cover. Eyewitness confidence is also another major predictor of eyewitness accuracy as well, and eyewitnesses of mass shootings and bombings tend to be confident as to who they believe they saw.

One of the most curious aspects of the “hoax theory” phenomenon is how it all of the sudden miraculously appeared immediately after Sandy Hook occurred. After looking extensively into the relevance of search terms associated with hoaxer online content (such as ‘crisis actor’, ‘false flag’ and ‘hoax shooting’) before and after Sandy Hook as well using time restricted search results to determine whether pre-Sandy Hook/Aurora attacks, bombings and shootings were ever subject to a barrage of hoax conspiracy theories, I’ve come to the conclusion that the abrupt arrival of the hoaxers and their mindless sloganeering cannot be entirely or even largely accounted for by natural forces and was very likely not spontaneous, but rather the result of a concerted effort by disinformation experts to derail real conversation and discredit plausible conspiracy theories by means of co-opting. The operational arm of this is very likely from within the Department of Defense/military intelligence/NSA and their contractors, not the CIA. ‘CIA’ has become a blanket term under which all covert operations have fallen, but the DoD, with it’s utterly immense budget and greater breadth, is more likely from what we know in charge of disinformation operations, either directly itself or indirectly through private contractors.

Aerial photo of MacDill Air Force Base south of Tampa Florida
MacDill AFB in Tampa, FL, where many military intelligence disinformation operations are rumored to be based out of.

Just as a preface, this isn’t an unheard of idea. Cass Sunstein, who was the head of the Office of Information & Regulatory Affairs under Obama from 2008-2012 and named to an NSA Advisory Panel in 2014 (all the while remaining one of Obama’s closest advisors), wrote a paper in 2008 which proposed “cognitive infiltration” of so-called extremist groups and “groups that produce conspiracy theories” involving the introduction of “cognitive diversity”, which could very well mean, when implemented, the insertion of false narratives into conspiratorial discourse to discredit any discussion of conspiracy at all. The timing of this is all too suspicious – all the hoaxers come out the woodwork only a few months after Sunstein departs from his (official) position with the Obama administration. It was revealed in the Snowden leaks that the NSA and GCHQ, through GCHQ’s “Joint Threat Research Intelligence Group” (or JTRIG), had operational cognitive infiltration schemes whose two primary tactics were “(1) to inject all sorts of false material onto the internet in order to destroy the reputation of its targets; and (2) to use social sciences and other techniques to manipulate online discourse and activism to generate outcomes it considers desirable.”

Buckley AFB in Aurora, CO. A major operational base for the NSA and another rumored disinformation center.

The US military has awarded contracts to government IT contracting corporations to carry out online psychological operations and various other “web engagement” operations using bots and sock puppet accounts to “create a false consensus in online conversations, crowd out unwelcome opinions and smother commentaries or reports that do not correspond with its own objectives.” This kind of activity of course predates the Obama administration – the Bush Pentagon employed teams of former generals to pose as “independent media analysts” while secretly coordinating with the Pentagon. Of course, there are many other examples that could be given, but the precedent has been set.

I became curious as to whether the terms ‘crisis actor’ and ‘shooting/bombing hoax’ and ‘shooting/bombing false flag’ and ‘false flag’ in general were ever really of any relevance before Sandy Hook or if they even existed at all, because presumably these terms wouldn’t just appear out of nowhere if highly publicized suspicious mass shootings had occurred in the past when the internet was around (which they have).

So, I looked at the Google Trends results (basically shows the search volume relative to total searches) for the terms (with and without quotations) ‘crisis actor(s)’, ‘false flag’, ‘shooting/bombing hoax’, and ‘shooting/bombing false flag’ and it turns out that crisis actor(s) and ‘shooting/bombing hoax/false flag’ more or less didn’t exist at all before Aurora and Sandy Hook (July 2012-January 2013 time period). This is highly suspicious (although I admit that Google Trends/search analytics is a somewhat blunt instrument). After 2012 they clearly adopted a new, much higher baseline relative search volume and also spike way more dramatically than they did before 2012. I excluded results before May 2006 (they start in 2004) because Google Trends backdated/inferred those results and so they tend to generally overstate any given index, they’re incredibly choppy (likely overfitted) and most of the time don’t even seem to correspond to any real world events or news articles or make any sense at all. I also tried to account for the meteoric rise in these terms’ usage by looking at the Trend results for “shooting” and “bombing” and “conspiracy”, and, although their relative search volume has risen quite a lot since 2012, their proportional rise in relative search volume is outdone by magnitudes by the proportional rise in search volumes of crisis actor/hoax/false flag terms (which is often by factors of over 100).

Google Trends indexes and time restricted search results posted at bottom of post

Google Trends index for ‘shooting hoax’ w/o quotations
Google Trends index for ‘crisis actors’ w/ quotations
Google Trends index for ‘false flag’ w/ quotations. As you can see, it wasn’t an essentially nonexistent search term before Sandy Hook as ‘crisis actor’ and ‘shooting/bombing hoax’ were, but clearly adopted a new baseline and spike far more dramatically around bombings and shootings post Aurora-Sandy Hook.

So after this I searched for specific results w/ these terms in relation to three major attacks/bombings/shootings that occurred before 2012, were highly publicized, had video footage and photographs of the event and the aftermath, occurred during a time in which the internet was widely available in the US and were subject to conspiracy theories – 9/11, OKC, London tube bombing, Columbine, DC Sniper, 2009 Ft. Hood and Virginia Tech. All of these also had plenty of video footage of both the event and the aftermath, which is the basis for basically all hoax/crisis actor claims. I noticed that basically all the hoax/crisis actor videos and articles surrounding them were published after 2012 (they really began popping up around 2013-2015), but after restricting the results to a year within which those shootings occurred (giving sufficient room for error in document timestamps) as well as a year before the event occurred until around 2012 (Aurora & Sandy Hook), I found that there were almost no hoax/crisis actor videos or articles in those time periods., and the ones that did exist were extremely low in the search rankings or if they were YouTube videos very few views (and most of them aren’t pushing a 100% hoax/staged theory – it’s all very mild compared to the flavor of the stuff you see today on YouTube). Generally the pattern is that the vast majority of the hoax videos and articles relating to these events come after Sandy Hook.

jwnosteelMore hoax-related results showed up for 9/11 than any other event, but they mostly refer to very specific videos, images and one phone call that was the subject of a 2004 article that was proven to have been faked in the mainstream press. There were very very few articles or videos stating that the entire event was a gigantic hoax that was entirely staged (as happened with Aurora, Sandy Hook & Boston Bombing, Paris, Orlando, San Bernardino, etc.), mostly people referring to certain parts of it having been staged in order to bolster their personal theory of what really happened. And a lot of the results are merely clickbait that don’t really have any content or analysis relating to 9/11 being a hoax. It gets even more dire when you search with quotations. Almost all of the hoax/staged results in relation to 9/11 occur after 2008 and most of the post-2008 (when Cass Sunstein took office) results are post-Sandy Hook. It’s my opinion that the Loose Change no-plane at the Pentagon as well as the lunatic Judy Woods “dustification” narratives were disinformation around 9/11, but neither one of these purports that no event actually occurred – the proposition that 9/11 was a “staged hoax” is a relatively new one that has only become relevant since Sandy Hook.

I searched for OKC hoax results from 1995 to 2012, and virtually nothing. You would think that since these were much bigger events that you would have more articles about these events being hoaxes or staged even years after they happened when the internet became more widespread (adjusted for the size of the internet at the time). There are a lot of articles about 9/11 and OKC being “inside jobs”, but very very little about total hoaxes or stagings (and basically none about OKC, as far as I can tell from a cursory search).

This is clearly anomalous. You would think that some proportion of the population/conspiracy would think that certain events (9/11, OKC, VA Tech, Columbine, etc.) were hoaxes/staged/had crisis actors regardless of whether it’s actually true or not (at the time of the event) and that that proportion wouldn’t just randomly explode during 1 or 2 events – previous events such as 9/11 and Columbine have been analyzed by hoaxers after 2012, so why not when they happened? I’ve yet to think up any way as to how this drastic and sudden spike in hoax-related theories and search terms could have been an emergent or natural pattern or trend – the growth of the internet in general and the “viral news” aspect of social media whereby people more or less shop for the most absurd and sensational headlines and the consequent devolution of conspiracy analysis in general has enabled it and can likely explain some of it, but not nearly all of it. I very strongly suggest that this false hoax narrative began being deliberately introduced somewhere around Aurora and Sandy Hook (likely between the two of them).

The overall point is that disinformation campaigns (likely carried out by disparate parties, not necessarily one group or organization) and viral media, which, in my opinion have spawned and legitimized the staged hoax theories, have opened the floodgates for sheer absurdism and given any idiot with a YouTube channel or Twitter account carte blanche to spew any ludicrous theory or conjure up any set of meaningless coincidences they please without being rightly ridiculed. They have sufficiently muddied the water so that every time any anomalies or ostensible cover-ups are discovered in relation to these massacres that are bolstered in the press, everyone jumps to the conclusion that the event “didn’t happen” because that notion has been maliciously inserted into the discourse.

Credit: Fitzpatrick Informer

This trend of absurdist disinformation of course includes the new (or, more accurately renewed) trend of legions of so-called “independent researchers” and “internet sleuths” contriving ludicrous pedophile and child trafficking ring conspiracy theories and “solving puzzles” based on vague passages from emails, poems supposedly encoded into the titles of YouTube videos with ROT-13 algorithms, numerology, entirely made up out of whole cloth “cheese pizza hazelnut handkerchief” code languages, comments on Instagram posts, Google maps results, supposed Masonic occult symbolism, etc. These really aren’t even theories because they aren’t attempting to explain or predict anything, they are just contrivances spun entirely out of weak coincidences and loose connections whose conclusions are arbitrarily arrived at. These are the real hoaxes and shams that take one or two disinformation artists or political operatives to conjure up and let loose, not mass shootings and bombings that are impossible to fake. Truly, the absurdist hoaxer flat earth pizza/pedogate segment is a plague upon not only conspiracy analysis but the internet as well as real victims of shootings and bombings.

Simply put, avoid 4chan, 8chan, Voat, Reddit, Crowdsourcing the Truth and all these other ridiculous message boards and forums infested with clickbait peddlers and disinformation experts where fruitless rabbitholes and puzzleholes are spawned which serve only to distract from real conspiracy.

Fox News Operates Like an Intelligence Agency

The unraveling of two of the most influential figures at Fox News, Bill O’Reilly and Roger Ailes, has shed much light on the internal workings of the company. While nearly all attention has been focused on Bill O’Reilly’s bizarre behavior and his seeming complete and utter inability to control himself around female coworkers, much more interesting revelations have come out in relation to Fox News’ intelligence operations as well as further confirmation of its political weight. For decades, Rupert Murdoch and Roger Ailes – both very politically connected – have covertly operated a compartmented section of Fox News/News Corp. involved in spying, computer hacking/electronic surveillance, blackmail, smears, bribery, intimidation, harassment, etc. that works very much like an intelligence agency or even a sophisticated organized crime syndicate.

However, before diving into the particulars of Fox News’ sordid black bag operations, it is important to lay the groundwork for behavior like this at Fox and briefly surmise its history of conniving and consorting with the highest levels of government. According to declassified US government documents obtained by award winning journalist Robert Parry, while Rupert Murdoch was still an Australian citizen and his media empire was relatively small and largely confined to the New York Post in the United States, he was recruited into a Reagan-era early ’80s “perception management” (i.e. propaganda) campaign spearheaded by then-CIA director William Casey and CIA operative Walter Raymond Jr. that aimed to bolster Reagan foreign policy and combat “anti-Americanism” indirectly through private entities, such as Murdoch’s newspapers. Murdoch, likely picked by the Reagan CIA because of his vehement support for Margaret Thatcher in the United Kingdom, began advancing hard-right politics in the US as opposed to just in the UK and Australia. Additional participants included Charles Wick, director of the now defunct US Information Agency (the propaganda house behind Voice of America and Radio Free Europe), Richard Mellon Scaife, the billionaire heir to the Mellon family fortune who dedicated his life to financing right-wing counter-establishment media and Roy Cohn, a powerful political fixer and lawyer who was intimately connected to the CIA, ran pedophilic blackmail rings and mentored, advised and ran interference for none other than Donald Trump right up until his death in 1986.[1][2]

b5bca-35a96d7800000578-3660027-image-a-24_1466881215842Like many who cooperate with the American intelligence community early in their career, Murdoch acquired tremendous power and influence of his own as Fox News emerged as the sole voice of the hard-right on cable television and as his media empire continued to grow in the UK, where prime ministers still to this day rely heavily upon positive coverage from Murdoch’s numerous newspapers to win elections, which has prompted Murdoch to be labeled the “kingmaker” of the UK and the most powerful media executive in the world. His close relationship with former British PM Tony Blair has perhaps been the most closely scrutinized, particularly in regards to his convincing of Blair to back Bush II’s War in Iraq. Murdoch has met former PM David Cameron secretly on many occasions. Most recently, he has met with current PM Theresa May, who was a favorite of Murdoch’s Sun newspaper.[3] Murdoch’s stranglehold on such a large portion of the British media puts him in a position such that any aspiring national-level British politician grovel to him and his empire.

In the US, Murdoch was essentially guaranteed a spot at the table given his ties with both the Clintons and Donald Trump, having cultivated a relationship with all of them. However, his history far predates the 2016 election. The New York Post’s endorsement of Ed Koch (a close friend of Trump’s) in 1978 – a decision Murdoch made at the very last moment – ensured his mayoralty (this perhaps marked the beginning of his role as a powerbroker in the United States). After Trump won the GOP nomination, Murdoch conducted a two day meeting with Trump at one of his golf courses in a time during which almost any other presidential candidate would be totally occupied campaigning. Murdoch’s tabloid, the New York Post, was instrumental in “making” Donald Trump through showering him with publicity when he was otherwise relatively obscure. It should be no surprise then that Murdoch has tremendous access to the president today, discussing “strategy” with the Trump weekly.[4][5]

“I would actually sit there where (Roy Cohn) would have a (New York Post) reporter on the phone, and he would be dictating the story, dictating word for word: ‘Donald Trump made a billion-dollar deal with the Saudis today, period, paragraph.’ You know, it was extraordinary.” – Roger Stone

“Look at Al Franken — one day he’s going to get a knock on his door and life as he’s known it will change forever… If any woman ever breathed a word, I’ll make her pay so dearly that she’ll wish she’d never been born… Ailes knows very powerful people, and this goes all the way to the top.” – Bill O’Reilly

Murdoch’s long-time former deputy, Roger Ailes, who resigned as CEO of Fox News in 2016, is not without political consequence either, having served as a highly influential media consultant to Richard Nixon, Ronald Reagan, Bush I & II, Rudy Giuliani, and most recently, Donald Trump, who Ailes helped break into politics by giving him a call-in segment on Fox & Friends and has been closely advising since before Trump even declared his candidacy.[6] Ailes and Trump are so close in fact that Ailes had Trump conduct severance negotiations with a former Fox PR executive, Brian Lewis, who was accused by Ailes of having been a source for an unauthorized biography of his.[7] Along with Lee Atwater, Ailes was at the forefront of engineering the GOP’s virulently aggressive media strategy and pioneering television as a medium for propaganda from the Nixon years onward (this strategy would later be implemented at Fox News, founded in 1996). He was also reportedly behind a push to run David Petraeus for president in 2012 and suggested to George W. Bush ways to handle the fallout from 9/11 in the media.[8]

From internal Nixon administration memo authored by Ailes

The hub of Fox’s intelligence network was the so-called ‘Black Room’, which was directed almost exclusively by Ailes and those loyal to him, although Rupert Murdoch surely knew of the operation and tacitly endorsed it. Through this ‘Black Room’, Roger Ailes employed private detectives, political/public relations consultants and operatives as well as computer hackers and electronic surveillance experts who reported solely to Ailes. The purpose of this legion of spies and PR mercenaries was to conduct harassment, intimidation and smear campaigns against anyone (including Fox employees) in opposition to Ailes and his agenda.[9][10] This ‘black room’ revelation shouldn’t be surprising given complaints from within Fox News of electronic surveillance, phone tapping, etc. Apparently, his spy ring also extends beyond the private sector. A leaked NYPD Intelligence Division memo obtained by Morning Media revealed that the NYPD conducted counter-surveillance against some party on behalf of Ailes and that Ailes has a retired NYPD detective at his side at all times:

Name: Roger Ailes, President of Fox News Network

Residence: Cresskill New Jersey

Work: 1211 Ave of the Americas

Remarks: Request for counter surveillance from Threats Desk. Mr. Ailes employs a retired NYPD Detective as personal escort. He arrives via private Car and is dropped off daily in front of 1211 Ave of Americas daily between 7am and 9am. He is Escorted into building by his security and is met by building security.

At the request of Mr. Ailes his security is not to be notified. He is aware of the pending counter surveillance attempt. Lt. Chapman (917) xxx-xxxx will be notified of the times and dates before conducting counter surveillance.

Andrea Tantaros, a former Fox host, has lobbed a very credible accusation of phone and computer hacking against Roger Ailes, Bill Shine and Peter Snyder, who owns Disruptor Capital, a venture capital firm based in Northern Virginia (flags should already be going off) that invests in “disruptive technologies.” Shine and Snyder allegedly used an army of Twitter bots to harass and smear Tantaros and someone somewhere hacked Tantaros’ phone and computer, as unique malware was recovered from her electronic devices.[11] Perhaps this lawsuit was the impetus for Bill Shine (and perhaps even Ailes) to resign from Fox, since surely Murdoch and friends don’t want a phone hacking scandal erupting in the United States and permanently damaging Fox News (as well as causing heads to roll in high level government positions) as occurred in the United Kingdom from the late ’90s all the way up until 2011 with an utterly massive scandal involving News Corp. British subsidiary, News of the World, a magazine that was more or less the British analog of the New York Post until its discontinuation in 2011 as a result of the scandal.

Employees of News of the World operated in a fashion reminiscent of intelligence agencies and apparently in a manner parallel to Fox News’ “black room” in the United States – bribing government and law enforcement officers, hacking, directing an extensive network of nasty, nefarious private detectives to spy on and intimidate seemingly almost anyone, etc. The network that News of the World ran had access to numerous confidential databases at telecommunications companies, banks, government agencies, and universities, had reliable informants in the highest levels of British government and law enforcement and managed to hack or illicitly obtain information (directly or indirectly) on members of the British royal family, politicians, celebrities, athletes, and various other subjects of British news coverage. Paul Stephenson, the former Commissioner of the London Metropolitan Police, was forced to step down over his ties to a newspaper editor accused of conspiring to hack cellphones.[12][13] (Might an American hacking scandal implicate parts of the NYPD?)

As far as we know, this nexus of News Corp., Murdoch, Ailes and CIA-esque intelligence gathering and shady political maneuvering stems from Murdoch’s early partnership with the CIA/USIA/Reagan White House and Ailes’ role in spearheading the dissemination of propaganda through television. It is easy to get lost unraveling a given powerful individual’s history, but if you look hard enough, you eventually stumble upon a decisive event, involvement or connection from their past (and often family) that establishes a foundation for their ascension into the elite and explains their political clout. And that brings us to Tucker.

The Future of Fox

Can’t help but wonder if Tucker is a closeted homosexual, like many others on the ostensibly anti-gay hard right.

The most recent casualty of the barrage of scandals coming out of Fox News has been Bill Shine, a high ranking director. Bill O’Reilly, Gretchen Carlson and Megyn Kelly’s departures have prompted an enormous shakeup in the network’s nightly lineup, and inconspicuous Tucker Carlson has emerged on top, at least for now. Certainly, Carlson’s meteoric rise out of relative obscurity on the back of anti-establishment backlash should be scrutinized. Perhaps the most crucial aspect of Carlson’s past is his seldom mentioned father, Dick Carlson, who was the associate director of the aforementioned US Information Agency as well as chairman of Voice of America, which put out pro-American propaganda in Eastern Europe and Asia during the Cold War. This is perhaps no surprise in the context of Rupert Murdoch’s involvement with the USIA and lifelong pro-American agitation.

After anchoring at CNN then MSNBC, Carlson became a contributor to Fox and later a full anchor. During his rise at Fox, Carlson simultaneously served as editor in chief of The Daily Caller, a trendy alternative right website that more or less echoed “anti-establishment” paladins Donald Trump and Ted Cruz that he founded with Neil Patel (a former policy advisor to none other than Dick Cheney) with funding from a GOP mega donor investment banker and friend of the Koch brothers, Foster Friess.

Although we don’t know how much longer this barrage of head rollings at Fox will continue, I most definitely think the shake up is about more than just sexual harassment allegations. Executives who would have had intimate knowledge of Ailes’ intelligence operation, such as Bill Shine, are being cut loose weekly. Another hacking scandal would surely be utterly devastating, if not lethal, for Fox and News Corp.

Deep State misappropriation and the cryptocratic clique behind Trump™

This article has been updated.

Recently, the right-wing media, from Infowars to Fox News, has been bandying the previously obscure term “deep state” about in reference to an alleged attempt within the executive bureaucracy and intelligence community to sabotage and undermine the Trump administration and its agenda. (This strategy, if it even exists, apparently isn’t working at all whatsoever since it hasn’t materially damaged Trump in any way and has only served to further rile up his already overwrought devotees.) Their gullible viewers have fully bought into the theater and truly believe that they’re peering into deep state machinations like out of a spy movie.

The media’s usage of the term “deep state” is almost always incorrect, since the deep state is framed by them as an exclusively “liberal” or (for the civic nationalist) “globalist” Obama holdover circle that exists almost entirely within the elected government’s bureaucracy and intelligence community. The reality is quite different – the real deep state is a multifaceted collage of interrelated cliques and factions (whose interests align more often than less) that interface and achieve their goals through insider corporations and financial institutions, the intelligence community/military, media, the scientific-academic establishment and non-governmental organizations/think tanks.

Political cartoonist Ben Garrison has even gone so far as to suggest that the deep state is (metaphorically) holding the American government (as a whole?) at knife-point:

Clearly the implication is that a government or nation nominally headed by the Trump clique (and presumably on the up and up given Garrison’s consistent slavish glorification of Trump) is being assaulted by a shadowy faction led by liberals and RINOs (very Reaganesque). This is simply bogus – there is substantial evidence to suggest that many components of the deep state (with which Trump has been adjoined his entire adult life) are bolstering Trump and that the media circus surrounding this apparently weak and ineffectual coup against him is merely a smokescreen orchestrated by various deep state elements to hide Trump’s insider credentials and establish him as a political outsider to the masses.

Firstly, it’s important to establish that this is simply a particularly sensational and dramatic iteration of the ages-old propaganda technique of framing your “side” or man as being in opposition to the establishment (typically represented by the incumbent administration’s party), which has been used recently by the Obama and Bill Clinton campaigns. Although Democrats can effectively deploy the technique, they simply cannot seem to match the Republicans’ mastery of the strategy. The Goldwater, Reagan and Trump campaigns have, with this propaganda strategy, stirred up populist fervor by engineering their candidate an anti-establishment almost messianic persona more effectively than any others in modern history. Surely, no one could play this role better than publicity craving life-long con-man and hustler Donald Trump.

The problem is that it’s virtually always a complete and utter sham. Barry Goldwater was (like Trump) bolstered in the media from day one and covertly supported by the right-wing/national security establishment anchored (at that time) by the American Security Council and John Birch Society, both of which were later credited with having been the driving force behind Reagan’s candidacy for president and, while in office, his foreign policy.[1] Ross Perot and Bill Clinton were both shams. Perot, a consummate political insider and close friend of Oliver North’s exposed to some of the US government’s darkest secrets, was the beneficiary of favorable treatment from the media (at one point being allowed back onto the debate stage after dropping out of the 1992 race) and was neck deep in intelligence connections through his company Electronic Data Systems, which had lucrative government IT & management outsourcing contracts and typified CIA involvement in the Dallas business community.[2] He was in fact so tied to intelligence that he was placed on Reagan’s Presidential Foreign Intelligence Advisory Board (a group of civilian presidential appointees that advise the president on intelligence and covert operations matters) and regularly attended AFIO (Association of Former Intelligence Officers)/OSS Society meetings.

Bill Clinton, who informed on left-wing anti-war groups and spied in Eastern Europe for the CIA while at Oxford, was a purely engineered product whose political career was enabled and coaxed along by deep state billionaire Arkansas wheeler-dealer Jackson Stephens (among others, such as the Tyson family and the Dixie Mafia), who was seemingly involved in nearly every major conspiracy in the 80s and early 90s from BCCI to CIA drug running out of Mena, Arkansas to the PROMIS scandal. Nearer to Clinton’s ascendancy to the presidency, he was backed by same liberal Eastern Establishment Atlanticist clan (epitomized by the Trilateral Commission) that effectively ran the Carter administration.[3][4]

Pictured: The Stephens, Inc. building, dominating Little Rock’s skyline. Houses the offices of the investment firm Jackson Stephens founded.

Clinton (like nearly all presidents) spent the entirety of his presidency as a lapdog of the deep state interests that propelled him into the governorship of Arkansas then eventually the Oval Office and was largely confined to a merely ceremonial position by a wall of executive bureaucracy while he philandered around. Hillary was an immediate handler of Bill’s, but was not profoundly powerful as many on the alt-right (which was spun into a frenetic hysteria over Hillary that it’s barely gotten over by the CNP-crafted Trump media complex) would have you believe – she was really more of a trinket paraded around on national television to garner support for the Clintons from women more than anything else, much to her displeasure. Bill even reportedly remarked to senior White House reporter Sarah McClendon that “there’s a government inside the government, and I don’t control it.”[5]

Little Rock – The headquarters of Acxiom, a database management and marketing services software/IT company primarily involved in mining consumer and financial data. Began as Jackson Stephens-backed firm Systematics, which was at the center of the notorious PROMIS scandal along with the NSA.

Barack Obama’s background is more well-hidden and obscure, but he almost certainly comes from an intelligence background. His supposed father was a pro-American anti-Communist agitator in Africa and essentially everyone on his mother’s side, including his mother herself and going all the way back to his maternal grandfather, appears to have worked with or for the CIA and/or military intelligence. Barack’s first job out of college was at a CIA-front import-export company in New York City called Business International.[6][7][8]

Unlike the crude and impulsive Trump, Obama knows how to act and what to do when he knows cameras are likely pointed in his direction. A large part of Obama’s appeal was his mystique, which he was able to maintain throughout his presidency.

Obama was, like Clinton and Carter, an asset of the Atlanticist clique, represented best by James Jones, Paul Volcker, Larry Summers, Susan Rice and Obama’s unofficial (yet reportedly most important) foreign policy advisor, Zbigniew Brzezinski. According to John Taylor Gatto, an expert on elite educational institutions in the United States, Barack Obama displays highly sophisticated speech patterns (use of cadence, meter, etc.) and a uniquely subtle, suave, sophisticated and some would say inscrutable manner about him reminiscent of intelligence operatives and those who have received extremely rare esoteric speech and behavior training.

Trump, with a laundry list of “deep state” connections a mile long, is no different than any of the aforementioned, at least to anyone familiar with his unwashed history. Friedrich Trump, Trump’s grandfather, immigrated to the US from Germany and made his fortune operating brothels and opium dens in Seattle and British Columbia during the west’s mineral rush, after which he began buying up property in Queens. Friedrich had three children – Fred, John and Elizabeth Trump. John Trump was an MIT researcher who developed radars for the Allies during World War II and was called in by the FBI after Nikola Telsa’s death to Tesla’s hotel room, presumably to review his papers and notes, which some believed to contain designs for a “death ray” (otherwise known as a directed energy weapon or particle beam). Donald’s father, Fred Trump, was not only a (corrupt and cronyistic) real estate developer, but was also at the center of the New York power-elite, having been a highly influential member of the Tammany Hall Democratic machine, Madison Democratic Club and Knights of the Round Table. Fred was also an enthusiastic donor to Jewish causes and worked in concert with fellow New York power broker and zoning lawyer Bunny Lindenbaum to subsidize the expansion of Judaism in Brooklyn and Queens through generous donations (typically in the form of land) to Jewish groups.[9]

Fred’s network extended beyond Brooklyn, reaching clear up to the mayor of New York Abe Beame, Roy Cohn, Bunny Lindenbaum, legendary publicist Howard Rubenstein, assembly speaker Stanley Steingut, well-connected bureaucrat Mike Bailkin and various New York-area mafias. fredtrumpFred utilized these extensive connections to procure preferable government treatment (mostly from the Federal Housing Authority) for himself and later Donald in the form of subsidies and lucrative no-bid contracts with various government bodies as well as the Navy. Donald, after having been aided, underwritten and bailed out by his father innumerable times, mirrored Fred in his business dealings and political relations, except for the fact that Donald expanded into Manhattan and beyond whereas Fred refused to ever stray passed Brooklyn and Queens.[9] Trump is as defined by his life-long connection to the same New York elite (Roy Cohn clique, NY politicians, Russian-Jewish and Italian mafias, CIA, international finance, etc.) his father broke into as he is by his career as a real estate developer. In fact, the two are inextricable. Throughout his life, Donald Trump has been bolstered, facilitated, bailed out and protected by higher ups, and this relationship has expressed itself in Trump’s business dealings, his miraculous ability to consistently skirt – and often times break – the law without consequence and his securing of incalculable amounts of free publicity from the media. Hidden behind the facade of the quintessential self-made man is someone who owes his success to the same elite he pretends to revile.

The Cohn Connection

Cohn & Trump (Cohn on far left)

Perhaps the most telling and important of Trump’s connections is his decades long affiliation and intimate friendship with his lawyer, advisor and mentor, Jewish pederast Roy Cohn, who instructed Trump to be aggressive and unrelenting in his dealings, secured Trump’s sister her judgeship and, most critically, was involved in brokering and running interference for many of Trump’s early Manhattan business and real estate deals, securing him critical tax abatements and zoning variances. Additionally, Cohn was involved in mediating a Reagan-era early 1980s “perception management” campaign spearheaded by William Casey that utilized Rupert Murdoch’s media assets to bolster Reagan’s foreign agenda. Cohn, like his protege, was also built up and granted passage into the American elite by king makers – his history intertwines with that of the Dulles brothers, J. Edgar Hoover and the early CIA. While working at the US Attorney’s Office in Manhattan (a job he obtained through his father’s political connections), Cohn was tasked in part with investigating and collating evidence on Alger Hiss, a suspected communist spy in the State Department. Additionally, he was critical in obtaining the death penalty for the accused Soviet spies, Julius & Ethel Rosenberg.

Afterwards, was hired on as red-baiting senator Joseph McCarthy’s lead prosecutor and counsel on the recommendation of J. Edgar Hoover, a close associate of Cohn’s who was blackmailed later in life by James Jesus Angleton, Meyer Lansky and possibly Cohn himself with evidence of his homosexuality. Cohn was protected and facilitated by the Dulles brothers throughout his career and later became one of the most powerful political fixers and attorneys in New York as well as a central figure in the “lavender Mafia” – a secretive and closely knit group of closet homosexuals in the American political right, and in particular the Reagan administration.

[Cohn] assumed a role in Donald’s life far transcending that of a lawyer. He became Donald’s mentor, his constant adviser. – Wayne Barrett, Trump: The Deals and the Downfall

“I don’t kid myself about Roy. He was no Boy Scout.” – Donald Trump, The Art of the Dealpg. 99 (*Cohn on far right)

Cohn was highly placed in the right-wing political power structure as a point-man between Republican politicians and the intelligence community, having been one of the most powerful figures in the John Birch Society (whose spiritual successors were fully behind Trump from the beginning) and involved in advising Republican presidents (particularly Nixon), orchestrating right-wing media campaigns with the White House, European spy-hunting rings (which had among its ranks several former high-ranking Nazis), CIA-Mossad-British intelligence front company Permindex, Bronfman-Meyer Lansky front Lionel Trains, pedophilic intelligence blackmail rings and liaising with almost every major New York crime family of his time in.[10][11][12]

Hanging on the wall in Cohn’s office was a photo of Trump, according to Gary Belis, the former director of public relations for Fortune magazine, and Trump had signed it. “To Roy,” he had written. “My greatest friend. Donald.” – Politico

It is well-known that Cohn was acquainted with pretty well near everyone in New York and Washington and in large part ran New York’s notoriously carnal and degenerate nightlife circuit (anchored by his club, Studio 54) for the better part of half a century. However, the true extent of his abasement and treachery is more well hidden. Probably the darkest and most diabolical part of Cohn’s history was his orchestration of pedophilic blackmail rings in league with American intelligence (under the guise of fighting communism). Cohn has connections to two infamous child sex rings – the DC callboy ring and Franklin scandal.

…According to the former head of the vice squad for one of America’s biggest cities, ‘Cohn’s job was to run the little boys. Say you had an admiral, a general, a congressman, who did not want to go along with the program. Cohn’s job was to set them up, then they would go along. Cohn told me that himself.'”

Cohn was a good friend of Craig Spence and together with top CIA and Army men, as well as politicians and businessmen, he once threw his birthday party at Spence’s house. Spence was later investigated for running a CIA-sanctioned homosexual and pedophile entrapment ring at his house with operations going straight up to the White House. [12]

(from left to right) Cohn aide David Schine, Joseph McCarthy & Roy Cohn (photo credit: ISGP)

Cohn reportedly used the famous Plaza Hotel in Midtown Manhattan (eventually bought by Donald Trump, who may have been an involved party) as a staging location for blackmail/entrapment operations:

…When New York attorney John Klotz began to investigate Roy Cohn on behalf of a client…declassified New York government files and spadework by a private detective substantiated the allegation that there was indeed a ‘blue suite’ at the Plaza, Suite 233. ‘Roy Cohn was providing protection,’ Klotz discovered. ‘There were a bunch of pedophiles involved. That’s where Cohn got his power from—blackmail. [13]

The Plaza Hotel in Midtown Manhattan (photo credit: Wikipedia)

To no one’s surprise, Cohn was wretched and depraved in his personal life as well. He was a prodigious consumer of illegal drugs and a rampaging sex-addicted homosexual pedophile who Wayne Barrett (who knew Cohn personally) described as a “chicken hawk after little boys”, “incandescent evil” and having given off a “Satanic feeling”. Descriptions of various aspects of his personal life and bizarre behaviors are literally blood curdling:

His [Roy Cohn’s] life was spent in a cocoon of filth and disrepair. “The expression used to describe Roy’s abodes time and time again was ‘shit house,’ ” writes von Hoffman. His bedroom was decorated with frogs: frog drawings, frog paintings, frog decals, frog patterns on sheets, on nightshirts, on wallpaper, froggies everywhere; it was a room “bulging with stuffed animals, in this enormous turn-of-the-century townhouse, the plaster cracking, the paint all but gone from the walls, leaks squirting, and drafts finding their way through the ill-attended cracks.”

His table manners were notoriously foul. He would eat from other people’s plates, using his fingers, dipping his fingers into their gravy. He craved sweets but feared getting fat, so, as one boyfriend recalled, “In these fancy restaurants he’d order the yummy desserts, eat them and then spit them out into a napkin.” [14]

cohnfrogTrump himself credits the warped Cohn with having been his foremost advisor (in other words, Cohn brought Trump to a higher political understanding, something that’s utterly crucial for anyone to succeed in high-level Manhattan business) in both his business and personal life. However, any remaining unpublished evidence of the full extent of his relationship with Roy Cohn was lost forever after the transcript of Trump’s testimony at Cohn’s disbarment hearing was lost in a sectional warehouse fire that occurred only a few months before Trump announced his candidacy.

Cohn Links Trump, Media

Cohn, like most other powerful lawyers, had preferred mouthpieces in the media through which he planted stories to serve him and his clients’ purposes. The most significant of those was the New York Post, Rupert Murdoch’s right-leaning tabloid newspaper which almost singlehandedly turned Donald Trump into a celebrity in the late ’70s and maintained his image as the symbol of wealth and grandeur throughout the ’80s and ’90s. Cohn would plant gushing, aggrandizing – as well as completely dishonest – articles in the New York Post about Trump. This kind of unashamed flack coverage was most definitely signed off on by the Post’s owner, Rupert Murdoch, himself a major power broker throughout the Anglosphere and United States and without a doubt the most powerful media executive in the world. Murdoch controls nearly half of the British and Australian medias and virtually all aspiring national British  and Australians politicians require his affirmation and good graces lest they be torn apart by his influential network of newspapers and television holdings. Murdoch has had a close relationship with Trump at least since the election season began and speaks with him weekly about “strategy”.

“I would actually sit there where (Cohn) would have a (New York Post) reporter on the phone, and he would be dictating the story, dictating word for word: ‘Donald Trump made a billion-dollar deal with the Saudis today, period, paragraph.’ You know, it was extraordinary.” – Roger Stone

From internal Nixon administration memo authored by Ailes

Comically uncritical coverage of Trump at Fox News shouldn’t be a surprise since it is also owned by Rupert Murdoch through News Corp. Roger Ailes, the former CEO of Fox News, has been a media consultant to every Republican president since Nixon and was, along with Lee Atwater, one of the key architects of modern Republican media strategy and turned television into a political propaganda medium for the GOP. This was, quite literally, the model for Fox News, which Ailes would found with Rupert Murdoch in 1996. Contrary to the Twitter theater between Trump and Ailes that was played up in the media early in election season, the two have been close for decades. Ailes was, in fact, the figure responsible for thrusting Trump into politics by giving him a daily call-in segment on Fox & Friends and has been a close advisor of his ever since. So, if Trump was this “political outsider” detested by the GOP establishment, why the decades long mutually beneficial relationship with Murdoch and Ailes, two of the most powerful and storied Republicans in modern American history?

The Trump Intelligence Agency (TIA)

Trump’s home in Sterling, VA. Notice the camera.

As has been reported extensively by Buzzfeed and WaPo, Donald Trump appears to have a penchant for covert surveillance, which squares with his history of intrigue with blackmail and association with people like Roy Cohn, both of which are very important threads throughout his life and enabled his meteoric rise in the Manhattan business community. Mar-A-Lago, Trump’s resort in South Florida, had (and likely still has) taps on every phone line, which allowed Trump and his security staff to listen into all phone calls made by staff and many phone calls made by guests. The implications of this are quite startling when you consider the fact that Mar-A-Lago is a major destination for informal business meetings and is frequented by powerful businessmen, lawyers, politicians, etc. His golf courses and other country clubs serve a similar purpose and also feature surveillance capabilities, which, according to sources familiar with the golf course and security businesses, are excessive, intrusive and not at all typical of an average golf course. Additionally, Trump owns a little-known, nondescript and utterly uncharateristic two-story middle class home in Sterling, Virginia adjacent to his golf course serving the D.C. metro area. The home is riddled with hidden surveillance equipment – low-profile cameras that look like smoke detectors, embedded microphones, etc.  – monitored remotely by his security team in New York, and, according to those familiar with the goings on at the home, is frequented by politicians, who are given “safe haven” at the house. Not surprisingly, a covert surveillance system for eavesdropping on business meetings held out of Trump Tower was installed on the 26th floor of the tower for Trump according to a 1993 biography on Trump, ‘Lost Tycoon’. Executives working out of Trump Tower and Trump-owned casinos warned colleagues that phone calls and in-person conversations were likely being eavesdropped upon. In all likelihood, Trump acquired this behavior from Roy Cohn, who, according to his former switchboard operator and courier, had similar surveillance systems installed at his offices and tacitly allowed the courier to listen into his conversations. (Interestingly enough, Christine Seymour, Cohn’s former courier, noted that Cohn spoke, along with Trump, almost daily with former CIA director William Casey and Nancy Reagan.)

Certainly, this begs the question as to whether there were others besides Trump and his security staff listening in to conversations that took place in his properties. It wouldn’t too far a stretch to suggest the FBI as a party to this behavior given Trump’s history of cooperation with the FBI regarding potential mob activity around his Atlantic City casinos (which undoubtedly involved permitted FBI surveillance) and the unusual number of FBI arrests made out of Trump Tower. Just a sampling of such busts include an FBI surveillance operation that busted a gambling and money laundering ring headed up by the Russian mafia that operated out of a suite in Trump Tower (among many other mob-related busts) and a separate covert operation that led to the arrest of a Brazilian FIFA official who had accepted bribes. Perhaps it’s not merely a coincidence then that Trump’s many sloppy and cavalier business and financial dealings and questionable personal ties have never been scrutinized and pressured by the FBI – him and the people around him play both sides.

The Trump-CIA-Mossad-Mafia nexus

It is popularly know even among mainstream politicos that Donald Trump has conducted extensive business with “the mafia” and that he became indirectly connected to Italian mobsters such as Nicky Scarfo (the long-time head of the Philadelphia mob) and Tony Salerno (the head of the Genovese crime family in New York) through Roy Cohn, who hosted the bosses of the five New York crime families in his law office to circumvent FBI surveillance. However, the Italian mob isn’t even the half of the story – everywhere criminal syndicates appear in Trump’s past (which has usually been in the form of the international Jewish criminal syndicate), the intelligence community and international criminal right-wing Zionism are at its hip. In fact, Trump’s entire career in real estate has been framed by his connection to the Israel boosting John Birch-Cohn clique which would eventually die off, but not before birthing the neoconservative establishment of today (a la James Woolsey, Richard Perle, PNAC etc.). Perhaps no business of Trump’s exemplifies the kind of operations he’s involved with and people he runs with than Resorts International, a CIA-Mossad backed casino holding company Trump ended up having a significant ownership stake in and for whom Trump served as little more than a colorful front man for its most ambitious project.

Trump Taj Mahal in Atlantic City, New Jersey

Resorts International originated as a project of Allen Dulles – Dulles gave Thomas Dewey $2 million in CIA money to purchase the Crosby-Miller Co., which would then go on to take over Mary Carter Paint, which became a CIA front company masquerading as a legitimate paint store chain whose purpose was almost exclusively to facilitate the laundering of money for American and Israeli intelligence by covering for and aiding the Meyer Lansky syndicate’s laundering, gambling and drug trafficking operations. Later, the company was spun-off into Resorts International as its primary business became the ownership and operation of casinos and resorts in both the United States and Bahamas used to launder money for deniable CIA & Mossad operations. Resorts had a wholly owned subsidiary, Intertel, a private security company which provided internal “security” at Resorts properties as well as to other lovely parties such as Howard Hughes, the Shah of Iran and Anastasio Somoza. Among Resorts’ financial backers were Meyer Lansky, the CIA and military connected Mellons, David Rockefeller, Switzerland-based Mossad money launderer Tibor Rosenbaum and the Rothschilds.[15]

In the mid 80s, after expressing interest in buying the Taj Mahal (at the time owned by Resorts) in organized crime-ridden Atlantic City, where the Lansky crime syndicate had begun expanding operations to in the early 80s. In a highly peculiar deal, Trump entered into a $60 million management contract with Resorts by which he would in effect be paid to supervise his own investment in the company – the construction of the Taj Mahal. After Resorts’ chairman, CIA man James Crosby died, Trump bought a 93% controlling interest in Resorts in order to finance the Taj Mahal project, after which he bought out the rest of the company then almost immediately sold most of its assets to Merv Griffin, retaining ownership only of the Taj Mahal. However, this was clearly not just some relatively innocuous corporate maneuvering – Trump apparently carried on Resorts’ criminal legacy, as Trump’s Taj Mahal has had to pay tens of millions in fines over its 25 years in existence for “willful non-compliance” with money-laundering laws and according to federal investigators became the preferred gambling spot for Russian mobsters from Brooklyn. Trump’s other casinos curiously have near perfect compliance histories.

Pictured: The BNY Mellon building in downtown Pittsburgh. The Mellon family is linked to the right-wing American national security and defense/scientific establishments and was instrumental in bringing a major defense industry and military presence to Pittsburgh (mostly through the spook-mill that is Carnegie Mellon University).

Other interesting dealings of Trump’s are his purchase of the property Trump Plaza was built on from members of the Philadelphia Cosa Nostra (Sicilian mafia), his sale of a Palm Beach mansion for an inexplicably huge sum of $95 million to Dmitry Rybolovlev, a Russian fertilizer billionaire and the acquisition of the Trump Building in Lower Manhattan whereby he purchased the building at a discount as a result of the fact that it was in limbo – the Trump Building was secretly owned through a front by Ferdinand Marcos, whose assets had been frozen (coincidentally enough, Paul Manafort was an advisor of Marcos’).[16][17][18]

Trump Building (his most valuable property) – 40 Wall Street, New York, NY

The 1970s saw the reduction of all major established East Coast crime families (primarily Italian) to nothing, which cleared the path for the monopolization of organized crime by the Russian-Jewish mafia in the late ’70s through the ’80s. Interestingly enough, Rudy Giuliani, a life long confidant of Trump’s, was instrumental in taking down several Italian New York and Philadelphia crime families, thus (apparently intentionally) leaving a vacuum for the already formidable existing Russian-Jewish criminal elements.[19]

As the Russian mafia rose to prominence in the ’80s, Trump’s personal and business associations in the criminal world adjusted accordingly, hence his later affiliation with seemingly every Russian of any relevance at all (most of them are Jewish as well) – Israeli citizen, Alfa Group oligarch and CFR member Mikhail Fridman, CIA-MI6-KGB cavorting oligarch Roman Abramovich (who fingered Putin, put him into power and remains his closest confidante to this day), corrupt fertilizer billionaire Dmitry Rybolovlev, CIA-compromised mobster Felix Sater (who is a senior advisor to Trump and maintains an office in Trump Tower, where his employer Bayrock Group is based), KGB-connected Tamir Sapir (also part of the Bayrock Group), legendary Russian-Jewish mobster Semion Mogilevich, and Ukrainian born Israeli citizen and Giuliani-backing “businessman” Sam Kislin, among plenty others.[10]

Trump Tower’s foyer

So not only does Trump have numerous connections to the Anglo-American establishment native to the US, but also to many of the largely ethnically Russian-Jewish oligarchs who constitute the covert underground KGB-successor government that survived the break-up of the USSR, enriched themselves during the period in which government assets were privatized after the fall of the Soviet Union and control Russia from behind the scenes to this day. None of this should be surprising given the fact that the U.S. real estate market (Manhattan’s in particular) benefited greatly from the vastly increased capital inflows into the U.S. from former Soviet Union countries after its collapse. This influx dirty money from Russia, Ukraine, Kazakhstan and other assorted former Soviet countries into the United States may well have saved Trump’s faltering real estate business, which was mired in debt and litigation by the beginning of the 90s.

Semion Mogilevich

Purchasing high end real estate is a relatively common but still startlingly effective method of laundering (or “washing”) dirty money and parking illicitly obtained assets. When Trump Tower was opened in 1983, it was one of only two luxury high-rises in New York that accepted anonymous buyers. We can speculate as to whether this was an intentional move on Trump’s part to entice shady characters to purchase condos or whether he was merely taken advantage of (I lean towards the former given his history even pre-1983), but, inevitably, dirty money came pouring in as all kinds of dubious characters as well as shell companies began purchasing multi million dollar units in Trump Tower, and in the future into many other Trump real estate projects such as Sunny Isles outside Miami and the Trump World Tower. One such character was a close associate of Russian Jew Semion Mogilevich, an ingenious mobster, stock fraudster, weapons dealer and money launderer with close ties to governments around the world as well as to Vladimir Putin personally, as well as many other Russian and Ukrainian politicians, bureaucrats and businessmen who came to prominence during the Yeltsin era. According to some analysts, Mogilevich is considered to be the effective head of most Russian crime syndicates around the world.[20]

Of course, Trump’s (indirect, as far as we know) ties to Mogilevich don’t end there. The gambling-money laundering ring that operated out of Trump Tower (in a condo directly below one owned by Trump) was run and protected by a close ally of Mogilevich’s in the United States. Trump’s Taj Mahal, a money laundering haven, is frequented by associates of Mogilevich’s in America. Both Trump and Mogilevich share in common links with the aforementioned Felix Sater and Tamir Sapir. Sater’s mob front, Bayrock Group and Sapir’s Sapir Organization both partnered with the Trump Organization on Trump SoHo in New York. However, it was no ordinary deal – Bayrock and the Sapir Organization put up all the money for the building, while the Trump Organization was contractually entitled to 18% of the profits without putting up any investment at all. Tevfik Arif (whose other pleasant activities will be discussed later), the founder of Bayrock, was also directly involved in SoHo and wished to help expand Trump’s real estate holdings in Eastern Europe. The Financial Times of London concluded, after a lawsuit against Bayrock was levied by several former real estate executives, that Trump SoHo had ties to an international money laundering network which involved even a former Kazakh energy minister. Sapir, who made his fortune as a high end electronics distributor (read: covert surveillance equipment), was a member of Mogilevich’s Brighton Beach mafia in Brooklyn. Felix Sater’s father was a Mogilevich boss in Manhattan.[20]

Jared Kushner leaving Henry Kissinger’s Manhattan townhouse (photo credit: Gawker) Kissinger said of Kushner, “Every president I’ve ever known has one or two people he intuitively and structurally trusts. I think Jared might be that person.”

Of course, Trump’s association with questionable Jewish figures doesn’t stop with Russian oligarchs and mobsters. Trump (like his father) has a long history of generously donating to Jewish causes, which has apparently been reciprocated judging by the number of prominent Jewish multi millionaires and billionaires (such as Sheldon Adelson, Steve Wynn, Carl Icahn, etc.) that donated to his campaign in both the primary and general election. His daughter, Ivanka, converted to Judaism after marrying real estate heir Jared Kushner, himself the son of former New Jersey mega donor, kingmaker, real estate swindler, blackmailer, convicted felon and rabid Zionist, Charles Kushner, who financially supported many of Benjamin Netanyahu’s election campaigns and even hosted the Israeli prime minister in his own home in New Jersey when Netanyahu visited the US. In the early 2000s, Charles Kushner almost single-handedly thrust Jim McGreevey into the governorship of New Jersey. After McGreevey – then governor – started refusing to return Kusher’s favors, Kushner dispatched a gay Israeli friend of his to seduce and entrap McGreevey. The relationship was exposed, McGreevey was forced to admit his homosexuality and was then blackmailed with the threat of sexual harassment lawsuits from the Israeli, which forced his resignation.

trumpkissngerKushner, who’s been advised and mentored by both Rupert Murdoch and Henry Kissinger, is reportedly Trump’s most effective handler in addition to being an unofficial ambassador and go-between for his clueless, unrefined father-in-law, especially in regards to Middle Eastern and Israeli affairs, having brokered Trump’s pre-inaugural sit-down with Benjamin Netanyahu. Kushner was involved in orchestrating the behind-the-scenes digital marketing campaign (with lots of help from Peter Thiel and Cambridge Analytica – more on them later) that purportedly helped seize Trump the election. Zionist Michael Glassner, formerly a high-level director at AIPAC (a central part of the Israel lobby) and engineer of the deal that gave the lease of the World Trade Center to Larry Silverstein, was a deputy campaign manager and advisor of Trump’s. Glassner has a long history of “handling” high profile Republican politicians such as Bob Dole, Sarah Palin and George W. Bush during election season.

According to a bombshell report from Politico, many of the characters mentioned above (Trump, Putin, Kushner, Abramovich, Sater/Arif/Sapir/Bayrock Group and yet another Russian-Israeli oligarch with close ties to Putin and Trump, Lev Leviev) are all connected and likely interface through an international Hasidic Jewish cult-like organization called Chabad-Lubavitch initially cultivated by Putin in the late ’90s through his installation of a Chabad leader as the head of the Russian Jewish Congress. Trump has conducted business with and has personal ties with many prominent members of Chabad. Chabad has a presence in the most obscure corners of the world, is apparently rather loose about its members’ adherence to Hasidic Jewish principles and several well-known members of Chabad have known links to the KGB/Russian intelligence. Reads to me like a front for Russian-Israeli intelligence. So Trump not only has powerful benefactors at home, but also abroad, adding another layer of complexity to his network.

Dirty Money, Drugs & Illicit Sex

Three of Trump’s more explicit ties to drug running and trafficking (favorite pastimes of the CIA and Mossad) specifically lie in Joseph Weichselbaum, Tevfik Arif and Adnan Khashoggi. Weichselbaum was a thrice-convicted felon and cocaine trafficker who managed the company (owned by Weichselbaum’s brother) that operated and maintained helicopters flying high-rollers to Trump’s casinos in Atlantic City. As Weichselbaum was facing yet another drug conviction, Trump vouched for him in court, asserting he was an upstanding citizen, which was a bizarre move for a casino mogul since any association with felons could have put Trump’s New Jersey casino license in jeopardy. Despite this, Trump continued to associate with Weichselbaum (as well many others involved with the mafia in Atlantic City, particularly Nicky Scarfo) and even went as far to give him an apartment in one of Trump’s Manhattan properties to live in after he was released from prison. Trump’s casino license was never revoked despite his blatant violations of New Jersey law regarding casino operators, but this isn’t surprising given the fact that Trump’s casino license was, in an unprecedented fashion, granted immediately without any vetting and apparently protected by behind the scenes players (much like Trump has been his entire life).[21]

Trump, Felix Sater & Tevfik Arif (photo credit: NYT)

Tevfik Arif, born in what is now Kazakhstan and brought up in the USSR, is the founder and chair of real estate development firm Bayrock Group, which co-developed the Trump SoHo and Trump International Hotel & Tower in both Fort Lauderdale and Phoenix and now has its headquarters in Trump Tower. Arif and Bayrock may also be connected to the Gulen movement in Turkey. In 2010, Arif was arrested in Turkey on suspicion of running a human trafficking and prostitution ring involving many high-level Russian, Eastern European, Turkish and Middle Eastern politicians and businessmen (not too dissimilar from Jeffrey Epstein’s child sex ring, which will be discussed later). In 2012, Arif was acquitted on all charges, which is odd because several Turkish newspapers were able to obtain undeniable proof of Arif’s guilt.[22]

Adnan Khashoggi, probably the most storied globe-trotting high-powered CIA-Mossad collaborating arms/drugs trafficker, money launderer and false-flag facilitator in history (connected to Iran Contra and 9/11), has been uncovered by investigative journalist Daniel Hopsicker as an associate of Donald Trump’s whose relation goes far deeper than just having his famed yacht eventually bought by Trump. According to Hopsicker, an informed source of his in Palm Beach has information that Trump gave Khashoggi (who attended his wedding to Marla Maples) shelter from INTERPOL at Mar-A-Lago while Khashoggi was under indictment for defrauding a large Thai bank. Khashoggi has throughout his life been intimately involved with the Cohn-Nixon-Reagan-North-John Birch-CNP clique of “national security” boosters towering behind the artifice that is Donald Trump.[23]

Of course, any discussion of Trump’s sordid past would be remiss without mention of Jeffrey Epstein, who orchestrated (or, perhaps just managed) a massive pedophilic blackmail ring stretching from the Virgin Islands to Palm Beach to Manhattan that entangled everyone from Trump to Bill Clinton to Ehud Barak to Courtney Love (yes, that Courtney Love). Epstein and his various manipulative female deputies procured underage girls from around the world primarily through modeling agencies (an industry Trump has been involved with – his modeling agency recruits girls as young as 14) and enticements of careers in acting, modeling and fashion. Epstein’s chief aide and most effective procurer was Ghislaine Maxwell, the daughter of Mossad asset, publishing baron and parliamentarian Robert Maxwell. Ghislaine was responsible for recruiting Virginia Roberts into Epstein’s operation while Roberts was a towel girl at Trump’s Mar-A-Lago.[24]

Les Wexner’s Manhattan townhouse (occupied by Epstein), which was at one time among the largest and most expensive pieces of real estate in New York

Epstein’s homes in Palm Beach and New York contained elaborate covert surveillance systems – hidden CCTV cameras, taps on all landlines within the homes, sophisticated computer network monitoring and high-end security suites installed on all computers, etc. According to the testimony of Larry Visoski, Epstein’s pilot, a dedicated technician who flew in from New Albany, Ohio maintained all surveillance equipment and handled any recorded footage from CCTV cameras. New Albany, a relatively small town outside Columbus, Ohio, happens to be Les Wexner’s residence and is sometimes referred to as ‘Wexley’ after Wexner’s massive Georgian estate. Wexner, another GOP-aligned Russian-Jewish Israel booster and mega-donor, is the long-serving chair and CEO of apparel conglomerate L Brands and was Jeffrey Epstein’s mentor and beneficiary. Epstein’s New York apartment was owned by Wexner and it appears that Wexner was in control of the blackmail material collected at Epstein’s residences, suggesting that Epstein was merely a front for a Wexner-orchestrated blackmail operation, which likely involved American and Israeli intelligence.[25][26]

Epstein’s somewhat underwhelming (but appropriately low key) Palm Beach mansion (photo credit: Curbed)

Certainly one would imagine that, given Trump’s involvement with Epstein (and Roy Cohn), he’s likely sexually compromised and blackmailed. Although the alt-right and Trump supporters dismiss the possibility that Trump was involved in Epstein’s child sex ring out of hand, there is much evidence to suggest that he was. The most crucial piece of evidence in favor of this is the fact that Trump’s name was circled by Epstein’s Palm Beach butler in Epstein’s contact book as a material witness to or someone directly involved with pedophilia. Trump’s entry in the contact book has probably nearly every phone number of his and his associates at the time listed, meaning Epstein and Trump were likely very close. Mark Epstein, Jeffrey Epstein’s brother, testified to as much (and also exposed the fact that Donald flew on Epstein’s private jet, which was referred to as the “Lolita Express” by Epstein and his sleazy friends).[27]

Epstein – a protected entity – received what amounted to a slap on the wrist for his crimes. He was prosecuted by the state of Florida and received a laughable 13 months sentence in which he was only required to report to prison at night and had his own private wing sanctioned off from everything else built out in the prison. The Miami US attorney who brokered the federal non-prosecution deal for Trump pal Epstein was none other than Alex Acosta, the current secretary of labor under Trump. How rich.

Testimony of Mark Epstein

A lawsuit brought forth by Katie Johnson alleges that in 1994 she was violently raped by Donald Trump (and death-threated afterwards) when she was 13 years old at a party of Epstein’s in New York. Johnson was seeking a career in modeling at the time and was lured into Epstein’s scene with promises of an avenue into modeling and admission to the Fashion Institute of Technology. Most lambasted the lawsuit as a pathetic partisan attempt to cast aspersion on Donald Trump, which could very well be true given the involvement of former Jerry Springer producer Norm Ludlow (who has a history of peddling dubious stories about celebrities) and anti-Trump conservative agitator Steven Baer in bringing the case to the media.[28] Despite this, many aspects of the claims in the lawsuit comport with known details of Epstein’s operation (and with Donald Trump’s germophobia) and Johnson’s witness, ‘Tiffany Doe’ (an anonymous name), who was a procurer of Epstein’s, corroborated the story.

After the lawsuit was dropped by Johnson because she allegedly started receiving veritable threats on her life, the notoriously imprecise right-leaning British newspaper/gossip rag Daily Mail published an article (whose only source was conveniently anonymous) asserting that Johnson ‘made it all up’ with virtually no evidence to back up the claim. This, along with the revelation that Johnson had drug problems, put the final nails in the story’s coffin.

However, keep in mind that while this lawsuit and its flaky accuser have issues, it’s ultimately credible because of 1) the inclusion of a witness who accurately describes Epstein and his methods and 2) the fact that the accusation fits with Trump’s pattern of sexual behavior. Notwithstanding Trump’s association with not a few lecherous and sexually depraved people (many of them known to be blackmailers), he’s also been accused of rape several times before (the first and most famous accusation originating from his first wife, Ivana, who conveniently recanted the claim a little over a month after Trump declared his candidacy) and has made lewd and inappropriate comments about underage females, some of them even directed towards his own daughter.[29][30]

On a related note, Elaine Chao (Trump secretary of transportation), her family and her husband Mitch McConnell appear to be connected to drug trafficking through Chao’s family’s shipping company, despite their pristine public image.

The Deep State & the Election

Conservative media as we know it originated as a Reagan White House PR effort to push GOP foreign policy prescriptions. Pictured: Ronald Reagan, Rupert Murdoch, Charles Wick, Roy Cohn and Cohn law partner Thomas Bolan in the Oval Office on Jan. 18, 1983 (photo credit: Reagan Presidential Library)

Electronic voting machine manufacturers tend to be connected to the Republican Party and the defense establishment. This was popularly known among many after the Bush-Gore vote count fiasco, but apparently slipped the collective conscious after a torrent of mostly phony stories about George Soros and Clinton-connected voting machine companies began being pushed by various alternative media outlets and Fox News.

Diebold, despite the fact that it no longer exists in a voting machine manufacturing capacity (its electronic voting business was sold to ES&S in 2007), is probably the most well-known company that has manufactured voting machines. It was an insider corporation before it began making voting machines and remains one to this day – north_canton4-1280x960it originated as a bank vault and physical security system firm which became a major defense contractor before turning to banking automation technology. Today, it is by far the largest ATM manufacturer and among the largest financial/commercial and transaction processing software and systems analysis companies in the world (although it’s not widely advertised, a large part of what Diebold does is very similar to what P-Tech of 9/11 fame did).

An exposition of Diebold voting machine involvement in the 2000 and 2004 Florida and Ohio vote counts and technical breakdown of how those may have happened are beyond the scope of this post, but you can read more about it here and here. Diebold’s former long-time chair and CEO, Walden O’Dell, was a major GOP donor and pledged to the 2004 Bush reelection committee that he was committed to “helping Ohio deliver its electoral votes to the President.”[31]

The largest electronic voting machine manufacturer with over 60% of the American market share is ES&S, based out of unassuming Omaha, Nebraska. The company cemented its leading position in the industry while headed by GOP donor and investment banker Chuck Hagel, who would be elected to the senate then appointed Secretary of Defense under Obama as well as appointed to the President’s Foreign Intelligence Advisory Board.[31]

Hart InterCivic, one of the few remaining large voting machine companies, is owned by Bain Consulting Group alumnus and Romney friends from the GOP-boosting and intelligence connected renegade private equity firm, Texas Pacific Capital.[32]

This of course raises the possibility that electronic vote and election fraud were responsible for Trump’s miraculous win in November of last year. This possibility certainly shouldn’t be dismissed. In 23 out of 28 states that conducted exit polls, the discrepancies between said exit polls and the vote count favored Trump while only 5 favored Clinton, which is suspicious enough on its own. Additionally, in 13 of those 23 states, the discrepancy between the vote count and exit polls exceeded the margin of error of the state’s exit polls, which on this scale is simply unprecedented in US electoral history. In 4 key battleground states which Trump won – Florida, North Carolina, Wisconsin and Pennsylvania (all of which rely heavily on computerized voting systems and which electronically tabulate their final vote count) – there were major discrepancies between the exit polls and vote counts, and only Florida’s discrepancy was less than its exit poll’s margin of error.

All Roads Lead Back to Cohn

Certainly, not all indications of deep state backing of nominal outsider Trump are rooted in obscure history – many involve people and organizations very much alive and well today. The most visible is Roger Stone, a GOP political operative and provocateur who was introduced to Donald Trump by Roy Cohn (and along with Trump was likely involved in Cohn’s sexual blackmail ring) and served as a consultant to the Trump presidential campaign (even after he officially left the campaign).

Stone and Nixon

Stone, currently at the ripe age of 64, got his start working for Nixon’s re-election committee, CREEP as a mere teenager. Right off the bat he proved his worth as a black bag operative by 1) donating funds that he made appear to be from the Young Socialist Alliance under a fake name to Nixon’s GOP rival Pete McCloskey then leaking the receipt to a New Hampshire newspaper and 2) getting a spy loyal to the Nixon campaign hired as Hubert Humphrey’s driver. Officially, Stone was a scheduler with the Nixon campaign, but according to Stone “by night, I was trafficking in the black arts. Nixon’s people were obsessed with intelligence.”[33]

After Nixon’s departure from the White House and flight back to Southern California, Stone remained loyal to him and served as his “man in Washington” according to Stone, who even has a life-sized tattoo of ever so anti-establishment Richard Nixon on his back.[34] He then worked on Reagan’s 1980 campaign, where he was introduced to Reagan advisor and loyalist Roy Cohn. According to Stone (who has a tendency to flaunt his filthy maneuverings to interested parties), Roy Cohn gave him a briefcase containing blackmail material (and possibly bribes) for him to deliver to lawyers for New York’s Liberal Party in order to get John B. Anderson the nomination for the Liberal Party, something that would fracture the opposition to Reagan in the state.[33]

Roger Stone and Roy Cohn – both have been sexually unhinged their entire lives, a common denominator among many right-wing virulently anti-gay politicians.

After Reagan’s win in 1980, Stone co-founded political consulting firm Black, Manafort & Stone (the ‘Manafort’ in the name referencing Paul Manafort, another Cohn affiliate introduced to Trump by Cohn) and went on to pull a diversity of dirty tricks for the the Bush I & II, Bob Dole and Arlen Specter campaigns. He aided Bush I’s campaign by having putatively anti-Bush “political outsider” Donald Trump join the race as a Reform Party candidate in order to sabotage Pat Buchanan’s candidacy and helped Bush II’s first campaign by helping to initiate the Brooks Brothers riot that put a stop to the Miami-Dade County vote recount – this provides a little context for Stone’s counterfeit opposition to the Bush family. Throughout this time, Stone also acted as a lobbyist for Donald Trump’s business interests and as a close advisor of his.[35] Stone has also dabbled in Democratic political maneuvering as well, at one point directing FBI informant Al Sharpton to join the race for the 2004 Democratic presidential nomination in an attempt to undermine Al Gore and set Sharpton up as a punching bag for the conservative wing of the media.[33]

Quintessential alternative media figure Alex Jones of Infowars and bisexual swinger GOP operative Roger Stone walking the streets of Jones’ base of operations, Austin, TX (a hive of shady government-connected companies and activity)

Today, he is most well-known for his capacity with Israel and CIA connected alternative media figure and pro-Trump hack Alex Jones. Stone seems to set Jones’s agenda (with Jones serving as more or less a mouthpiece) and regularly makes appearances on his show, which has proven to be an incredibly effective outlet for Roger’s baseless claims and blatant disinformation intended to send the conspiracy-aware down fruitless rabbitholes (probably the most famous claim of his being the allegation that former Clinton aide Huma Abedin is a covert radical Islamist). However, his ties to the alternative media run far deeper than just Jones. Stone himself admitted that he has a back-channel line of communication with Julian Assange/Wikileaks, which is a likely intelligence front. Wikileaks has served as a potent vehicle for propaganda advantageous to Donald Trump cleverly framed as “leaked” emails and documents. The leaks may or may not be legitimate – some of the emails have allegedly been verified via authentication of cryptographic signatures attached to all emails, but with Wikileak’s intelligence connections and background, it (or, more likely, whoever leaked the emails to them in the first place) could very well have knowledge of various proprietary cryptographic hash functions, meaning they could’ve effectively ‘forged’ authentication signatures across many email clients.

Wikileaks’ most notable releases have been:

  1. The Podesta emails, which sparked the bogus Pizzagate alt-right fever dream which I imagine most are familiar with. Roger Stone probably had prior knowledge that Podesta’s emails would be leaked (as well as foreknowledge of the DNC leaks) and may have even been involved in crafting the absurd baseless pizzagate fable (which was expanded upon by legions of 4chan and Reddit “investigators” who rely heavily upon photo analysis, which is about as sound as crime lab hair follicle analysis (in other words, not sound at all).[36]
  2. cpt7ydmvuai_p0g
This cartoon, by Sean Corcoran, is on Jeff Zucker’s office’s window sill.

The DNC emails, which attempted to establish that there was high-level collusion between the media and the Clinton campaign/DNC. While a few of the emails do indicate as much, the claims are exaggerated and Wikileaks and its wide-eyed followers of course fails to acknowledge that there was collusion between the media and Trump as well. The media gifted Trump full control of the news cycle, almost $2 billion in free advertising and massively disproportionate coverage compared to both rival GOP nomination contenders (even before he registered in the polls) and Clinton. In fact, according to several analyses, Trump may have received more net positive coverage than Hillary Clinton. (For a more in-depth look into the media’s role in catapulting Trump to the White House, read this article.)[37][38]

  3. The laughable ‘Vault 7’ supposed CIA document leak laying out a variety of “CIA” hacking tools. It is a classic limited hangout – all of the hacking techniques, exploits and vulnerabilities in Vault 7 have been known to cybersecurity experts for years prior and some of the content of the documents appears to have been lifted straight off of Reddit. For a real example expose of the American intelligence community’s mind blowing hacking capabilities, see Kaspersky Lab’s report on NSA computer firmware trojans.

The NatSec (national security) establishment, Trump & Bannon

Founding CNP member and rabid Trump supporter Phyllis Schlafly speaking to the Council.

What’s most interesting about Donald Trump is that he is right at the confluence of two major deep state clans – the radical Pentagon-centered right-wing national security establishment epitomized in NGO form by the secretive John Birch Society and American Security Council scions the Council for National Policy and Center for Security Policy. (This circle is primarily responsible for the Trump media complex).

The Council for National Policy (CNP) is an intensely secretive cabal of mostly neoconservatives from the national security/defense establishment and radical theocratic Christian right that dates back to the early Reagan years and serves as more or less a far-right analog to the liberal-centrist tending Council on Foreign Relations (which Trump and his network have a litany of connections to as well). Its current and past membership reads like a who’s who of the right-wing defense-centered power structure: Oliver North, founding CIA member John Singlaub, Irving Kristol, Donald Rumsfeld, “father of the hydrogen bomb” Edward Teller, Reagan diplomat Jeane Kirkpatrick, Blackwater founder Erik Prince, Heritage Foundation big Edwin Fuelner, Pat Robertson, Jerry Falwell, Joseph Coors, the Hunt oil family, Edwin Meese, Steve Forbes, among others.

Tt’s important to establish the role of an influential faction of Reagan-era conservatives (most of whom are members of the CNP) led – at least publicly – by Trump advisor and former Reagan counselor and attorney general Edwin Meese. Meese, a long time national security establishment power player and behind the scenes political manipulator who was involved in Iran-Contra as well as the PROMIS/Inslaw scandal through his government IT systems consulting firm Hadron, founded the Reagan Alumni Advisory Council for Trump-Pence, which is composed of over 200 Reagan administration alumni. Among its ranks are pro-Trump CNN pundit Jeffrey Lord, “mega-lobbyist” Haley Barbour, elite GOP political consultant Ed Rollins, radical Christian Israel-booster Gary Bauer, and former Bush drug czar William Bennett. Meese’s Advisory Council promotes massive tax cuts and a rebirth of the Reagan administration’s “peace through strength” foreign policy.[39][40]

However, the most interesting member of the advisory council is Frank Keating, former governor of Oklahoma and Reagan attorney general who got his start as an FBI special agent who made his career after making a number of high profile “terror-related” arrests. While in the Reagan White House, Keating oversaw the FBI, U.S. Marshalls, ATF, Customs Service, Secret Service and DEA. Keating was intimately involved in the Oklahoma City Bombing conspiracy, having been governor of Oklahoma at the time. His brother, Martin Keating, wrote a manuscript approximately four years before OKC called “The Final Jihad” which tells the story of a group of terrorists led by a Thomas McVey who conspire to bomb a federal building in Oklahoma City as well as scenarios eerily reminiscent of the TWA downing and WTC bombing of 1993.[41]

The book’s blurb reads

Martin Keating is a master storyteller with unique access to government intelligence agencies and clandestine terrorist groups. His brother Frank Keating, currently governor of Oklahoma, is a former FBI agent and assistant secretary of the Treasury who supervised the Secret Service, U.S. Customs, and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms. Keating’s uncle, Barney Martin was a career intelligence officer who headed the U.S. Navy’s worldwide foreign intelligence collection operations and counterintelligence activities.

Introduced to the intelligence community through generations of family involvement, Martin Keating knows intimate details of what the rest of us can only imagine. Armed with firsthand knowledge of explosives and of chemical and biological weapons, Keating accurately reveals what the highest government officials have known, feared, and covered up for much too long.

What is with all these conspiracy fixtures from the ’80s and ’90s reappearing after almost two decades of obscurity? Are we about to see a reemergence of mass-scale sophisticated false flag domestic terror (beyond the scattering of shootings that defined the Obama era) and Reagan-era unhinged renegade cowboy foreign policy?

New faces abound as well. First and foremost of CNP members (at least formally) in the Trump administration is none other than Stephen Bannon, Trump’s mysterious chief “strategist” and senior White House counselor, who along with Kelly Anne Conway has been a CNP member since at least 2014 according to a leaked membership directory. Bannon, who masquerades as a rabid anti-establishment marauder, has deep roots in the national security and financial establishments.

Bannon while serving as an enlistee in the Navy

Bannon served in the Navy first as an engineer then navigator on the destroyer Paul F. Foster for around three years and became an officer in only half a year, an extremely rare feat. While attending the preeminent spook university, Georgetown to obtain a degree in “national security studies”, Bannon worked in the Pentagon as “special assistant” to the Chief of Naval Operations during the Reagan administration. Bannon’s official role was coordinating communications between Naval officers in the Pentagon and writing analytical reports of the state of the Navy. However, the position of “special assistant” often also denotes someone who is an unaccountable deniable link in place to do dirty work. Bannon’s immediate boss in Naval Operations, Capt. J. Arnold, provides a rather peculiar description of Bannon’s role in the Pentagon:

“[Bannon] was a very good problem solver,” Arnold recently recalled. “When I had a problem that I needed help on, he was a good guy to go to. And he knew people in the Pentagon who knew the answers when I needed answers.

A friend of Bannon’s in Naval Operations said of Bannon that it was

…like he’s lobbying to become Chief of Naval Operations… He could sense what was going on behind the scenes.

Any further information on what Bannon did in the Navy is being withheld by the Navy, which cited “undisclosed issues with the service’s personnel archives” as the reason they couldn’t provide any other specifics as to what Bannon did while serving in the military. Clearly, this means that there’s something to hide – did he perhaps serve in Naval intelligence?[42]

Steve Bannon’s entry in a leaked CNP membership directory

For his entire career in media, investment banking then into politics and eventually the White House he seemingly had no fixed address and was peripherally related to several drug smuggling operations and stock fraud schemes operating out of South Florida through his ex-wife Diane Clohesy and a shady business associate of his, Anthony Badolato, who is, along with several other shadowy illicit businessmen and criminals, involved in the network of shell companies Bannon’s owned or been involved with. Drug smuggling and stock fraud are of course favorite past times of the Russian-Jewish mob as well as the CIA and Mossad. This begs the question – has Bannon ever been involved with such groups?

After graduating from Harvard Business School, Bannon worked in Goldman Sach’s private equity division specializing in media mergers & buyouts then in Hollywood consulting on conservative documentaries and films, one of which was Peter Schweizer’s documentary, Clinton Cash which broke the Clinton Foundation story wide open. Schweizer, a fellow at the right-wing defense establishment hive Hoover Institute (intimately connected to the Stanford Research Institute and Bechtel dynasty), founded the Government Accountability Institute with funding from GOP kingmaker and mega-donor Robert Mercer and the Koch Foundation.

Bannon was a co-founder of Israel-tied Breitbart News along with Andrew Breitbart and Larry Solov and procured substantial funds for the website from the aforementioned Robert Mercer, who as a result is a partial owner of Breitbart. Mercer, a reticent hedge fund billionaire tied to the NSA through his mathematician business partner James Simon (who donates to Democrats “to hedge” – haha – against Mercer’s backing of Republicans), is among the many wealthy and powerful people supporting Trump both directly and indirectly through media outlets like Breitbart. Along with funding Breitbart, Mercer was by far the largest donor to the Trump campaign and the pro-Trump Make American Number 1 PAC. Mercer delegates much political maneuvering to his wife, Rebekah Mercer, who has about as much access to the president as her husband, having sat on Trump’s transition team.[43][44]

Perhaps even more sinister and unsettling is the Trump administration’s connection to the Center for Security Policy (CSP), which is seemingly more exclusive and deep state-connected than the CNP and receives significant funding from the defense industry. The CSP was founded and is still fronted by Frank Gaffney, a former Reagan Pentagon official, PNAC founding member and rabid American dominionist neoconservative and Zionist who has been a influential advisor of Trump and his administration’s and was slated to become Ted Cruz’s national security advisor had he won the presidency. Gaffney is a major proliferator (and possibly the originator) of many conspiracy theories embraced by the alternative media and right-wing, such as the idea that Barack Obama is a secret Muslim, that the Obama administration was a vehicle for the “Iran lobby”, that Huma Abedin is a Muslim Brotherhood operative and that Saddam Hussein was responsible for the 1993 WTC bombing. The CSP is more foreign policy-centric than the CNP and is a spin-off think tank of the premier postwar conservative establishment think tank, the American Security Council. The CSP’s membership includes or has included former CIA director James Woolsey, Dick Cheney, neoconservative former chairman of the Defense Policy Board Richard Perle, In-Q-Tel founding member and aerospace executive Norman Augustine, chess grandmaster Garry Kasparov, Jeane Kirkpatrick, Edward Teller, legendary right-wing moneyman Richard Mellon Scaife, former director of the CIA and Secretary of State James Schlesinger and Paul Wolfowitz.

James Woolsey (center) with Allied military intelligence officer Victor Jones and French Spy Jeannie de Clarens.

However, they key advisor on Trump’s campaign was not Frank Gaffney, but WASP-Zionist father of PNAC, Pentagon insider, extreme neoconservative hawk and former CIA director James Woolsey, who’s been an anchor of the conservative defense/national security wing of the deep state for decades and has served on the board and/or in an advisory role for almost every major NGO, neoconservative think tank and defense company in the United States. Despite the fact that Woolsey resigned as an advisor to the Trump campaign (which he had glommed onto early on in the election season) over Trump’s remarks regarding the intelligence community, Woolsey clearly remained in the Trump apparatus through his proxy Michael Flynn, whose Flynn Intel Group featured Woolsey as a board member. Woolsey attended a meeting with Michael Flynn and representatives of the Turkish government where the primary topic of discussion was the covert removal of Muslim leader Fethullah Gulen from the United States and subsequent “extradition” to Turkey to face likely execution by the Erdogan government. Flynn even offered Woolsey the position of CIA director, which would have made Woolsey the over person to have ever held the position twice. Given his background and deep connections to the conservative defense establishment, liberal diplomatic establishment and international Zionist syndicate (all three of which are represented in the administration), there is a very real possibility that Woolsey was the chief architect of the Trump White House and the primary procurer of backing for him by a worrisome assortment of defense establishment representatives, military brass, New York City high financiers, Zionists and extreme conservatives.

What is it with the “anti-establishment” right and defense/intelligence-connected software & data mining companies?

Mercer’s “big data”/analytics firm, DoD contractor Cambridge Analytica was employed by the Cruz, Trump and pro-Brexit campaigns to conduct sophisticated psychometric research through mining voters’ social media and to manipulate public opinion and reportedly played a crucial role in the election of Donald Trump and the outcome of the Brexit referendum. Bannon, having been connected to the Mercers since his stint at the Government Accountability Institute, sits on its board. Michael Flynn served on its advisory board. Its parent company, London-based SCL Communications, is a government contractor that carries out psychological warfare and “influence operations” in the UK.[45][46]

Yet another connection of Bannon’s to shady analytic software companies appears in VizSense, a social media targeting/ad optimization company founded by former Navy SEAL and CIA-collaborator John Iadonisi. The company, based out of the (Michael) FlynnIntel Group’s former offices in Northern Virginia, was hired by Bannon to conduct “millennial engagement” via social media, specifically through producing videos. On VizSense’s website, it claims to “weaponize your brand’s influence through military-grade influencer marketing and intelligence services.” Interesting choice of words in ‘military-grade’ given Iadonisi’s military/intelligence background.

Michael Flynn, whose Flynn Intel Group served as an interface for foreign governments and groups to deal with the incoming Trump administration and was involved with several intelligence-connected analytics and software firms, served on the board of NSO Group, an Israeli spy software and surveillance technology distributor that originated in Israel’s hyper-secretive Unit 8200 (the Israeli analog to the NSA) and sells spyware and malware to governments, law enforcement agencies and intelligence agencies around the world.

Trump and Thiel

Peter Thiel, a German-born billionaire hedge fund owner, businessman and futurist was an early financial backer and public supporter of Trump along with Mercer. In addition to being a major financial backer and public supporter, he has been one of Donald’s closest advisors and was highly placed in Trump’s transition team. Thiel, who is now a member of the Bilderberg Steering Committee, got his start as a lawyer at Sullivan & Cromwell (one of the most powerful law firms in the world) before co-founding PayPal, from which most of his fortune is derived. Thiel was one of the first investors in InQTel-backed Facebook and remains on its board to this day. InQTel (the CIA’s venture capital arm that seems to have had its tentacles in every major software/technology company at some point in their history) also invested heavily in Thiel’s big data/analytics company, Palantir Technologies (named after a fictional glass ball that “sees the future”), which derives almost all of its revenue from CIA, Department of Defense and law enforcement contracts, most of which involve data mining any resources Palantir can get its hands on for the purposes of “counter-terrorism” (code for foreign and domestic surveillance).

Palantir headquarters in Palo Alto, CA

It also seems as though Thiel (and possibly Palantir, or an organization related to it) was involved with or at the very least was familiar with the internal workings of the Trump campaign’s analytics-driven digital media campaign given his highly specific and detailed knowledge of Jared Kushner’s role in managing it (curiously enough, Eric Schmidt, CEO of Google, also knew of Kushner’s involvement). According to a Forbes expose, the Trump digital campaign “delved into message tailoring, sentiment manipulation and machine learning” – machine learning (along with neural networking, “AI”, predictive modeling, etc.) is essentially the crux of cutting edge data analytics, the type Thiel’s Palantir focuses on almost exclusively. Kushner, commenting upon his “secret data operation”, said “our best people were mostly the ones who volunteered for me pro bono. People from the business world, people from nontraditional backgrounds.” What “nontraditional background” means is anyone’s guess, but a good one would be a Palantir background given the fact that employees from Thiel’s software firms and venture capital fund had been seconded to work for the Trump campaign – did Peter Thiel effectively donate to the Trump campaign effort by having his employees work for the campaign pro bono? Certainly, his involvement would make sense, given the fact that he and Palantir have everything to gain from Trump and his administration’s advocacy for the vast expansion of the surveillance state both in scope and scale.

Jeff Giesea, a D.C.-based digital consultant who’s previously worked for Peter Thiel and the Koch brothers, is the founder of social media organization MAGA3X (which was involved in building up and weaponizing online pro-Trump “troll armies”) and was one of the organizers of DeploraBall, one of the first major alt-right rallies. MAGA3X describes itself as “a citizen grassroots movement that helped elect Trump” and on its website as “Freedom’s Secret Weapon.”

Deep State Administration

As is typical of those in close advisor and counselor positions in the White House, Bannon serves very much as Trump’s “eyes and ears” and handler – he controls the flow of information to the president and decides what’s important for him to know and what isn’t. In the case of Trump, it appears as though he’s essentially clueless as to what’s actually going on in the government – Bannon and White House staffers must make sure that the president only consumes media favorable to him lest he goes off the rails. It’s also quite clear that Bannon, “formerly” with Breitbart News manipulates the president by inserting inflammatory news stories sure to inflame Trump into his daily briefs – this is how the shaky and unproven assertion that the Obama administration surveilled his campaign reached Trump. (Certainly, if the Obama administration wanted to covertly spy on Trump’s campaign for political purposes, they wouldn’t do it through official channels like the FISA court; they would do it in a deniable fashion directly through contacts at intelligence agencies or other organizations capable of that kind of surveillance, such as intelligence outsourcing firms like Booz Allen and CSC.)[47][48]

“I play to people’s fantasies. People may not always think big themselves, but they can still get very excited by those who do. That’s why a little hyperbole never hurts. People want to believe that something is the biggest and the greatest and the most spectacular. I call it truthful hyperbole.” – Donald Trump (The Art of the Deal, pg. 58)

Trump reportedly spends most of the day watching cable news, reading newspapers or trawling Twitter and reads and discusses top secret briefs in the midst of hundreds of guests at Mar-A-Lago (all the while looking detached; catatonic even). Neoconservative Mike Pence likely predominates as it relates to policy. As with Resorts International, The Donald serves as a mere figurehead trotted out for public consumption while his behind the scenes sponsors and handlers run the show. (He doesn’t even write the majority of his tweets.) Traditionally, important handlers are placed in either the Deputy Secretary of State’s office or in the office of National Security Advisor, although recently this trend has broken down since the days of Henry Kissinger, Zbigniew Brzezinski, Strobe Talbott, Richard Armitage, Brent Scowcroft, Sandy Berger etc. and we can no longer reliably predict where handlers are placed and must evaluate whether someone in an administration has true power on a case-by-case basis. Although Trump’s cabinet is largely filled with Jewish-neoconservative national security boosters (the PNAC crowd), diplomatic Eastern Establishment Atlanticist types also appear in key roles, though they are still almost exclusively right-wing.

The current acting Deputy Secretary of State is Thomas Shannon, an Oxford graduate Obama-era diplomat who survived the purge of State Department officials that occurred during the first months of Trump’s presidency. It is likely that he will be replaced. Initially, neoconservative Israel shill, CNP & CFR member and Iran-Contra conspirator John Bolton was presumed to be the shoe-in Deputy Secretary of State and was apparently the Trump administration’s top pick, but was shot down due to extreme resistance from the rest of the GOP which was wary of Bolton’s high profile. Trump has, however, promised Bolton a position in his administration, and there are plenty high-level offices still vacant.[49]

Tillerson speaking to the CFR

The current Secretary of State, Rex Tillerson, “former” chair & CEO of insider corporation ExxonMobil, has an entire catalog of deep state ties as well. Having been the chairman of join American-Russia oil company Exxon Neftegas, he’s spent almost as much time face-to-face with Vladimir Putin as Henry Kissinger and is a close friend of Putin’s “de facto deputy” in charge of Russia’s security/military apparatus Igor Sechin. Additionally, Tillerson is a member of the CFR, CSIS and the powerful Business Council, which according to sociologist William Domhoff is the most powerful non-government organization in the world and “supports the network of corporate control, and influence over the economy, politics, and media.” Dick Cheney, Henry Kissinger, Donald Rumsfeld and James A. Baker (Bush II secretary of state and Reagan secretary of the treasury) were the four critical people who promoted Tillerson as secretary of state to the Trump administration. Baker, who has extensive business ties to Tillerson, was chief legal advisor to George W. Bush during the 2000 election and oversaw the Florida vote recount. On 9/11, Baker met with members of the Bin Laden family at the D.C. Ritz-Carlton for a Carlyle Group board meeting. Surely Kissinger, Baker and Cheney were well aware of Tillerson’s ties to Russia, so why did they lobby for him? You would certainly think that given the above facts, the media would be obsessively covering Tillerson and monitoring his every move, but they’ve been conspicuously absent in this regard.[50][51][52]

“So it’s a hell of a lot of fun to shoot ’em. Actually, it’s a lot of fun to fight. You know, it’s a hell of a hoot. It’s fun to shoot some people. I’ll be right upfront with you, I like brawling.” – Jim Mattis

Jim Mattis, current secretary of defense, is an unabashed warmonger (whose pet issue is advocacy of war with Iran) and sits on the boards of defense contractor General Dynamics and biotech “start-up” Theranos, a supremely shady and taciturn company whose board of directors also contains favorites such as Henry Kissinger (one of Mattis’ favorite diplomats), George Shultz and Riley Bechtel. As a high ranking Marines officer, Mattis was a leading proponent of organizing land forces into small unaccountable renegade units – effectively mercenaries, modeled after private & intelligence paramilitary units. Mattis’ deputy, Patrick Shanahan, was formerly a Boeing executive. Certainly, Mattis isn’t alone in his capacity as a “national security” booster and at times frenzied and virulent warmonger.

Keith Kellogg

Keith Kellogg, chief of staff of the National Security Council formerly worked as an advisor to Oracle Corporation’s “homeland security division” (does Oracle have government contracts it’s not telling anyone about?) and has been employed by CACI (a major military and intelligence IT contracting/outsourcing company involved in Abu Ghraib) and Abraxas, a highly secretive subsidiary of defense contractor Cubic Corp. that developed the controversial predictive surveillance software, TrapWire. Kellogg’s work on applications of networking and analytics software (“network-centric warfare”) to the military made him a favorite of Donald Rumsfeld’s in the defense industry. As a result of this, Kellogg was dispatched to Iraq after it was occupied to serve as chief operating officer of Iraq the Coalition Provisional Authority, where he brokered deals with defense contractors to rebuild Iraqi infrastructure and worked directly under Kissinger associate and 9/11 suspect L. Paul Bremer. Mike Pompeo, Trump’s CIA director, is an Iran hawk and champion of NSA surveillance who got his start at Williams & Connelly (the most powerful and exclusive law firm in D.C.) and whose political career was spawned by the Koch political machine. The secretary of homeland security, John F. Kelly, is yet another extreme war on terror alarmist who served as the defense secretary’s military assistant during the Obama administration.

Two Bush II holdovers stand out in the Trump administration – Joe Hagin, deputy chief of staff for operations and Tom Bossert, homeland security advisor. Bossert was one of the co-authors of the National Strategy for Homeland Security (which proposed the creation of the DHS), was W. Bush’s deputy homeland security advisor. Hagin held the same role he has currently in the Bush II administration and his day-to-day power reportedly rivaled that of Karl Rove. Trump is supposedly staunchly opposed to the Bush family, establishment Republicans and everyone associated with them. So how come all of these Bush-era powerplayers and Koch assets have been placed in the bowels of his administration? What gives?

Trump National Security Council

H.R. McMaster, an Army lieutenant general, succeeded the dull empty suit disinformation disseminator and intended fall man Michael Flynn as National Security Advisor. McMaster is apparently backed by powerful interests. This is evidenced by the fact that 1) he bucked and criticized his immediate bosses in the military and trashed his own military’s history and strategy his entire career yet was never forced out or purged, an extremely rare feat indicative of protection from above; and 2) was lobbied for by insiders Jim Mattis and John McCain (who speaks almost daily to McMaster and Mattis) – this perhaps explains why the mainstream press heaped so much praise upon him. Like Mattis, McMaster has been seen as an intellectual leader in the military, allegedly having crafted a large portion of the Army’s Iraq counterinsurgency strategy, apparently taking cues from the “world’s leading expert on counterinsurgency warfare” David Petraeus, who is very close to both McMaster and Mattis and has been advised by them on multiple occasions. Petraeus’ “favorite intelligence officer”, Derek Harvey, has been appointed senior director of the NSC for Middle Eastern affairs.[44][53] Why two counterinsurgency experts have been appointed to top positions in government is unclear at this point, but needless to say it doesn’t look good, especially in the context of the Trump administration’s war & domestic surveillance/crackdown agenda:

The best counterinsurgency campaigns integrate and synchronize political, security, economic, and informational components that reinforce governmental legitimacy and effectiveness while reducing insurgent influence over the population. COIN strategies should be designed to simultaneously protect the population from insurgent violence; strengthen the legitimacy and capacity of government institutions to govern responsibly and marginalize insurgents politically, socially, and economically. (U.S. Government Counterinsurgency Guide, 2009)

However, McMaster’s two female deputies are considerably more interesting than him. K.T. McFarland is particularly fascinating. After having watched several interviews and talks of hers, it’s become obvious to me how seasoned and sophisticated she is, and how someone like her could very easily play the role of a crucial handler. She attended Oxford then MIT, where she studied defense planning and became a self-described nuclear weapons expert. During the ’70s, McFarland worked on Henry Kissinger’s NSC staff writing (read: manipulatively wording) briefs for the president and remained on the NSC during the Ford administration as a Kissinger protege.[54]

K.T. McFarland with Henry Kissinger in the ’70s

In the ’80s, McFarland was one of defense secretary Caspar Weinberger’s closest aides as well as his speechwriter and communications chief. According to McFarland, her speeches were used to “short-circuit layers and layers of conflicting interests” in the defense bureaucracy. Weinberger was a very powerful secretary of defense and was noted for his key role in massively increasing the size and scope of the defense department and crafting the Strategic Defense Initiative before he was indicted for his involvement in the Iran-Contra affair (which Weinberger friend and CNP member Oliver North was also famously involved with). After his political career was over, he became vice president and general counsel of Bechtel, a large insider engineering corporation with CIA & DoD contracts involved in the construction of underground government bases.[55]

As Deputy NSA, McFarland has been not-so-subtly pushing for the agitation of North Korea and convened a meeting of national security officials to solicit proposals for a first-strike on North Korea. Dina Habib Powell, recently hired by H.R. McMaster, is Deputy NSA for Strategy (a separate position from the Deputy NSA). She was previously a high-ranking staff member in the Bush II administration “assisting the president” on appointing cabinet, subcabinet and ambassadorial positions. Powell then went to work for Goldman Sachs and at some point joined the Trilateral Commission, a major conspiracy staging ground which embraces neoliberalism in international relations (which advocates maximizing absolute as opposed to relative gains for states and cooperation/diplomacy), the co-opting of geopolitical adversaries and “soft power”. McMaster, McFarland and Powell are members of the Council on Foreign Relations. However, it seems as though the National Security Council may not have as much sway as it has in previous administrations, as the Pentagon has been empowered to make military decisions without nearly as much NSC/White House meddling, which is sure to please the Pentagon-centered conservative establishment that has so vigorously backed Trump. This shift in the balance of power may not have happened had extreme neoconservative Zionist John Bolton been appointed deputy national security advisor, as Trump wanted after failing to have him installed in the State Department.[56][57][58]

Update: McFarland is reportedly being offered a position in the State Department (perhaps deputy Secretary of State, a position which has not yet been filled with a Trump appointee) or an ambassadorial position.

Alfred Taubman, Trump & Kissinger

A common theme among Trump administration defense and diplomatic officials is a connection to premier global conspirator and champion of realpolitik, Henry Kissinger, which shouldn’t be surprising given the fact that Kissinger is reportedly a close unofficial advisor of Trump’s (having at one point advised Trump to accept Crimea as part of Russia) and intends to serve as a critical intermediary between the Trump administration and Vladimir Putin, possibly coordinating a strengthening of ties (of indeterminate length) between the US and Russia to counter rising Chinese geopolitical influence. (In the ’70s, Kissinger conducted secret foreign policy with the Chinese, attempting to use them as a counterbalance to the USSR. Could the inverse be happening today?) This effort would also invariably involve Japan, a country that feigns weakness and pretends to isolate itself from the world stage, but in reality has, like the US does, a cult-like faction of militarists in the defense establishment who push and lobby for war with China, develop secret weapons systems in league with American companies like Raytheon and carry out unauthorized covert spying. Japan’s involvement with global conspiracy is generally very well hidden, but was exposed in the aftermath of 9/11 with the involvement of Fuji Bank and Komatsu in the event.[59][60]

Update: Jon Huntsman, Jr., a friend of Henry Kissinger’s since the age of 11 and former chairman of elite liberal establishment think tank, The Atlantic Council, has been appointed Ambassador to Russia – a critical ambassadorial position.

Why is the government of Japan peddling a “working partnership” between it and the US on Facebook? Is right-wing re-militarized Abe-led Japan ready to step into the limelight of global politics positioned against China? Perhaps the White House’s SoftBank “deal” underwritten by Saudi Arabia was intended to kick this off.

The deep state naturally extends to the economic and financial executive bureaucracy under Trump as well. Wilbur Ross, former senior managing director of Rothschild Inc. who, with early Trump supporter and donor Carl Icahn, engineered a deal whereby Trump was able to maintain control of his Atlantic City casinos after they were foreclosed upon, is now secretary of commerce.[61] Stephen Schwarzman, chairman & CEO of Blackstone Group, the world’s largest private equity company, is the chairman of the president’s Strategic & Policy Forum and one of the most influential economic advisors of the president’s along with Cohn, reportedly having convinced the president not to push to get rid of the Dreamer and DACA (Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals) programs. Schwarzman has been very close to the Bush family, having attended Yale and been a member of Skull of Bones with George W. Bush, whose political career Schwarzman later financed. Fellow Bonesman, political paymaster and long-time Goldman Sachs partner Steve Mnuchin is secretary of the treasury. (Gary Cohn, another former high-ranking Goldman executive, is now the president’s chief economic advisor.) Mnuchin, like Ross, has been involved in business dealings with Trump – his firm Dune Capital invested heavily in Trump hotels in Chicago and Hawaii.[62] Interestingly enough, the alt-right phantom George Soros (a business partner and friend of Mnuchin’s) was also part of a consortium of investors into the Trump tower in Chicago that after completion of the tower effectively forgave Trump hundreds of millions in interest payments by allowing Trump to purchase the remaining portion of the loan at a drastically reduced price.[63][64] Charles Kushner was involved in a similar scenario with a Chinese real estate consortium connected to the Chinese government.

We have yet another private equity-hedge fund connection to Trump in Steve Feinberg, co-founder and CEO of private equity firm Cerberus Capital Management, which owns murderous bloodstained defense contractor DynCorp. Turns out, Feinberg may have murderous inclinations in common with the jewel of his company’s portfolio. Feinberg, another member of the Business Council, has been a top economic advisor to Trump and was recently asked by the president to lead a “review” of US intelligence agencies. What in the blue hell does that mean?

Trump’s secretary of education, Betsy DeVos, is Erik Prince’s sister. Prince, yet another CNP member, founded the infamous contract mercenary and security firm Blackwater and reportedly advises him on matters of intelligence and national security, even going so far as to help establish (along with Bannon and Jared Kushner) a secret back-channel of communications with Russia. The primary thrust of the meeting was purportedly Russia backing off its informal alliance with Iran, which would most definitely fit with the Trump administration’s aspirations of obliterating Iran. It is very likely that Prince, who despite having sold Blackwater to a consortium of investors several years ago has extensive contacts within the NYPD and FBI (two law enforcement organizations from which Blackwater recruited out of heavily) was the person leaking details of the investigation into Hillary Clinton’s use of a private home-brew email server. Prince has publicly called for a revival of the CIA’s Phoenix Program, a renegade mind control assassination ring that existed during the Vietnam War. Joseph Schmitz, an executive director of Blackwater, was a foreign policy advisor for Trump’s campaign. What is it with Trump and unhinged rampaging warmongers and contract murderers?[65][66]

In Conclusion

“Thank you for that wonderful tribute to Henry Kissinger yesterday. Congratulations. As the most recent National Security Advisor of the United States, I take my daily orders from Dr. Kissinger, filtered down through General Brent Scowcroft and Sandy Berger, who is also here. We have a chain of command in the National Security Council that exists today.” – James L. Jones, first NSA under Obama

Although it can certainly be established that Trump and his administration are squarely in the right-wing establishment camp, it isn’t readily apparent who is going to be calling the shots in the administration. We most definitely know it is not Trump himself nor is it ever going to be, but determining who the power behind the throne is in the administration (or, more accurately, represents the true authorities and kingmakers of the world) is something that is incredibly difficult to predict and can only truly be known in hindsight. Trump himself is insulated from the rest of the administration by his circle of close advisors – Kushner, Bannon & Stephen Miller, who in my estimation are not so much real decision makers or power brokers as they are handlers and go-betweens. As it stands, most of the key higher level secretaries and national security officials in the administration appear to be empty suits (except for Tillerson, who is very powerful), McMaster in particular – his expertise appears to be spouting off military jargon and groveling to elite think tanks. (Perhaps he’s literally taking his orders from Henry Kissinger, as we know other national security advisors have in the past.) Other key defense establishment officials appear at least at first glance to be serving at the behest of the defense contractors who stand to gain tremendously from the Trump administration’s agenda.

It stands to reason that Mike Pence may play a powerful role in the administration (particularly from a policy standpoint) given the fact that Donald Trump Jr. told vice presidential interviewees that they would be in full charge of the administration’s domestic and foreign policy while the president is busy “making America great again” – in other words serving as a figurehead. This wouldn’t be unprecedented for a Republican administration, as Republican vice presidents are often far more powerful than the presidents they serve under (see: George H.W. Bush under Reagan, Cheney under Bush II, etc.).

However, regardless of the internals of the administration, clearly Trump and his administration are in no way representative of political outsiders or their interests, being connected to just about every conspiratorial faction present in the Western world from the conservative and liberal Anglo-American WASP leagues to the Jewish-Zionist-Russian criminal syndicate to the militaristic sunbelt-based CNP neoconservative junta. These very sanctioned gangs have through their various media operations duped a substantial proportion of the American population into believing with unshakable conviction that a blackmailed inveterate con-artist and swindler who supports continued warmongering and the expansion of the surveillance and police states is truly on their side and will fight for them as opposed to the people who funneled Trump into his final and most awesome acting gig.

Why the ‘border tax’ is a bad idea

The Trump administration’s border tax has been trumpeted by legions of supposedly pro-market pundits in the right wing media for months now. It is relatively simple to dissect this misguided policy:

First, it’s necessary to get past the obfuscatory language – ‘border tax’ is essentially a glorified term for a tax on imports, or tariff (border tax sounds more exciting though, doesn’t it?). A tariff’s intended effect is to make (presumably cheaper) foreign imports at least relatively (if not, absolutely) more expensive than the same domestically produced goods in order to prop up domestic firms. Since imports become more expensive as a result of the tax, the level of imports drops and more domestic goods are purchased since they become cheaper than foreign goods. Another less obvious effect of the tariff is, since the equilibrium price is not being attained and production does not reflect consumer preferences, a decrease in allocative efficiency/overall societal economic benefit. In other words, the marginal benefit to the consumer of consuming the last unit of a good is less than the marginal cost to the producer of producing the last unit of said good and consumers end up with a burden of taxation/loss of economic benefit/utility (necessarily) in excess of any increase in economic benefit to producers. This is illustrated by this graph:

As you can see, value to consumers is lost in two areas where trade with the tariff does not take place – from QC1 to QC2 under the demand line and from QS1 to QS2 under the supply line. The overall loss in consumer surplus (the difference between what a consumer is willing to pay for a good and what they end up paying on the market) is expressed by the area composed of producer surplus above P-world, tax revenue and societal loss. Part of the loss in consumer surplus is canceled out by gains accruing to producers (because of the increase in the market price of their good and increased production) and part of the loss is recouped in the form tax revenue, but some of the lost consumer surplus is irretrievable and accrues to no one (hence the overall “loss” in societal benefit).

It is important to note that this example is of a market for one specific good. If we were to extend this out to the entire economy, an even greater societal loss would likely occur as a result of some of almost all firms’ producer surplus being canceled out by increased costs of inputs caused by the tariff.

So, already we have a loss in economic efficiency and overall well-being. However, this is only a first-order effect. Now we must observe any second-order effects of the so-called border tax:

Assuming international trade always means that different currencies are traded/purchased as means of payment for foreign goods, a crucial identity holds in the long-run: value of imports = value of exports. Let’s flesh this scenario out further and see why this holds:

Since foreign goods are now more expensive than domestic goods as a result of the tariff/border tax, the level of imports decreases. In order for firms in one country to import goods from another country, it must purchase said foreign goods with foreign money (in practice this is done for them by international banks). Foreign money is purchased on the foreign exchange market at the prevailing exchange rate between the domestic and foreign currency, then used to purchase foreign goods. The foreign exchange market functions like any other market for goods or services (more or less) – it follows the laws of supply and demand.

Since less foreign products are purchased after a tariff is implemented, demand for foreign currency decreases and less domestic currency is supplied into the foreign exchange market. The effect of this is to increase the value of domestic money relative to foreign money (or, conversely, decrease the value of foreign money relative to domestic money since currency A’s exchange rate relative to currency B = 1/currency B’s exchange rate relative to currency A).

This makes domestic products more expensive for foreign firms to purchase because domestic currency is now more expensive to purchase on the foreign exchange market, and so less domestic goods are imported by foreign countries. So, ironically enough, the border tax not only cuts imports, but it also cuts exports (hurting domestic producers) commensurately. Imports = exports. So, the final result is a decrease in overall trade and an increase in prices (both representing significant loss of economic gains), which is indisputably bad for the economy and population as a whole.

Trump administration and media misdirection

The Trump propaganda mill has remained in full swing despite the election already having happened. Nothing is more demonstrable of this than cable news’ “coverage” of Trump’s so-called deals with Carrier Corp., Ford, SoftBank and a few other large companies. It was utterly inadequate and failed entirely to demonstrate how Trump and his proxies deceived and lied to the American people regarding the details of the deals, i.e. that they were more or less payoffs/subsidies (meaning decreased allocative efficiency) and did not result in nearly as many “jobs saved” as Trump and his team claimed (and in the case of SoftBank was enabled by funds from Saudi Arabia, a country Trump is supposedly intent on punishing). [1] A few major mainstream print outlets did dissect and pull apart each deal, but a message isn’t transmitted to the vast majority of the country unless it’s reiterated constantly on mainstream cable news and social media – it must be a drumbeat.

The next act in the theater was “pissgate,” which demonstrated again (remember pizzagate?) the sheer gullibility of the alt-right after the vast majority of them embraced a version of events whereby 4chan originated the “intelligence” memos as an elaborate hoax based on the claims of a person who declared after the fact to have written the memos and photos/screencaps of completely fabricated excerpts from the document (apparently none of them thought to actually read the document just to be sure esoteric 4chan references were actually present in the document). Of course many labeled pissgate a sophisticated intelligence/deep state-backed black bag hit job on Trump, but this clearly wasn’t the case. Firstly, the scandal blew over fairly quickly – real deep state influence in the media takes the form of narratives that are drummed into the American people over the course of years (such as Trump being a “political outsider”), not one-off scandals that have no long-run effect on the rate of support for a given politician. If someone really wanted to blow the lid of a scandal that would put Trump in the ground they would get in touch with Les Wexner, who likely has Trump having sex with underage girls on tape.

Secondly, the memos originated from two private intelligence/opposition research firms – one an American firm which originally conducted the research and the second a British firm hired by the first firm to write up a plausible sounding narrative about Trump’s relationship with Russia largely using facts that could be summarized by anyone who regularly follows current events. Neither one of the companies appears to have deep state connections (Orbis, the British firm, was co-founded by a retired MI6 agent who had a long but ultimately unexceptional career). The only major unique fact presented in the memos was the “golden showers” bit, which was clearly the main piece of information the memos intended to transmit. Personally, I think the golden showers allegation is likely mostly true – firstly, it fits Trump’s pattern of previous sexual behavior (and if Trump himself wasn’t involved in the behavior what would germophobia have to do with it?) and secondly, nothing else in the memo seems to have been an outright fabrication or fiction – so why should golden showers be, especially given the fact that it was clearly the selling point of the memo?

Pictured above: 4chan’s insane unfounded rendition of pissgate events (photo credit: NY Post)

As for other contents of the document, such as Russia’s cultivation of Trump as a potential intelligence asset, they are somewhat believable as well given Trump’s long history and established ties with the Russian-Jewish mafia and other Eastern European interests through people like Felix Sater, Mikhail Fridman, Sam Kislin, etc. [2] It’s not entirely implausible that Russian intelligence may have had their eye on Trump long before his 2016 run given his previous bouts in politics (Obama birth certificate, potential presidential and governorship candidacies, etc.). Despite this, the media narrative that Trump is more or less a Russian plant and that Russia swayed the election is false. The supposed evidence of Russian hacking into DNC servers is weak and inconclusive – Cyrillic text files, known Russian or Ukrainian cryptographic keys, etc. could very easily have been planted in the server logs by someone who knew what they were doing. And, if this truly were the work of sophisticated hackers deployed or hired by Russia, the NSA would surely be able to provide evidence and detailed analysis of the exfiltration and how the stolen data was routed and be able to present it in a roundabout way without compromising their own methods. Some have speculated that the Russian hacking narrative is being spun to escalate war with Russia, but I think it has rather been a way of covering up insider leaks, which if exposed would undermine Trump’s status as an outsider.

As is typical with every administration, there are key handlers placed in unassuming, low profile positions throughout the administration there to ensure that the global elites’ and military-defense establishment’s agendas are upheld and to make sure the president and his inner circle don’t buck the establishment on important issues – Trump will require careful handling in regards to foreign policy and trade/commerce, two issues which he, at least on the surface, appears to diverge from the establishment on (however, Trump is fully on board with the establishment as it relates to domestic policy, surveillance, police state, internet regulation, assertion of American dominance, etc.). Neoconservative CNP member and former UN ambassador John Bolton will likely become the Deputy Secretary of State (who is typically hands-on and behind the scenes as opposed to the secretary) , following in the footsteps of a long line of foreign policy handlers – Warren Christopher, Strobe Talbott, and Richard Armitage among others. CFR president Richard Haass is the backup if Bolton is blocked in confirmation hearings. K.T. McFarland is deputy national security advisor and is clearly in a position to handle sensitive issues that the incompetent Michael Flynn is unfit to. She was a former Kissinger NSC staffer and protege of Reagan defense secretary and Bechtel counsel Caspar Weinberger of Iran-Contra and SDI fame (in many ways Trump and his administration is a rebirth of New Right-CNP-John Birch-Reaganite neoconservatism in both ideology and personnel).

Of course, this isn’t to say that there aren’t establishment mainstays in high profile cabinet positions either. Wilbur Ross, former senior managing director Rothschild Inc. who, with Carl Icahn, engineered a deal whereby Trump was able to maintain control of his Atlantic City casinos after they were foreclosed upon, is now secretary of commerce. I should note that this is a fitting position for someone who has been highly involved in technology transfers to China and Russia. Bonesman, political paymaster and long-time Goldman Sachs partner Steve Mnuchin will be secretary of the treasury. Mnuchin, like Ross, has been involved in business dealings with Trump – his firm Dune Capital invested heavily in Trump hotels in Chicago and Hawaii. Interestingly enough, George Soros (a one-time business partner of Mnuchin’s) was also part of a consortium of investors into the Trump tower in Chicago that after completion of the tower effectively forgave Trump hundreds of millions in interest payments by allowing Trump to purchase the remaining portion of the loan at a drastically reduced price. [3, 4]

It’ll certainly be interesting to observe the administration’s maneuverings from this point on.

Morning Joe, Trump

As I’ve reported in previous blogs, the mainstream media seems to subtly bolster Donald Trump, which is of course contrary to popular opinion which blanket asserts that the mainstream Midtown and D.C. media is squarely against Trump. One of the key specific indications of this was leaked off-air audio from Morning Joe during the primaries in which Scarborough and Brzezinski effectively collude with Trump by agreeing not to ask him any tough questions, after which Scarborough and Trump claim the agreement will increase Morning Joe’s ratings and make Trump look better. [1]

Just recently it was reported by the New York Times that Scarborough and Brzezinski attended Trump’s New Years Eve party at Mar-A-Lago. [2]

Scarborough & Brzezinski speaking with Trump at Mar-a-Lago

While Scarborough and (maybe) Brzezinski may not have broader conspiratorial motives in treating Trump favorably, this is still an indication that top executives at NBC, which is supposedly vehemently opposed to Trump and will stop at nothing to bring him down, while undoubtedly knowing about this behavior refuse to stop it or do anything about it. Given Trump’s connections to CNN’s Jeff Zucker (formerly of NBC) and top executives at Fox News, it makes sense that he would also maintain close ties with NBC’s management. It’s also of course an indication that all the phony “feuds” between Morning Joe and Trump are nothing more than theater, as if that weren’t already obvious enough to anyone paying attention.
